A good idea...something like the RD used to have? I don't think I know much about this. Please do explain...
RD's long carrier looks different from what RXs had. Few batches of RX135 and RX100 came with these long carriers. But now a days its too hard to find these long carriers(Original one). These days I can see long carriers made by other local companies which is of poor quality and looks little bit different if we are watching it in detail with x-ray eyes.

I have seen a snap of long carrier in Bigbore's(Arun) Facebook album which seems to be a good one. Try contacting him, he will be able to help you to source one.

I'm sure your bike is gonna looks more pretty with the long carrier.

The RX100 never came with the RD shaped carrier ... The only other bike that came with the RD350 carrier was the Rajdoot 175 Super Deluxe. It shared the RD's Tail Lamp, Indicators and Yoke/Switch Combine.

I will post a pic of the carrier on my RD.

Folks, only the grab rail came as factory fitting ... the carrier was sold as an accessory .... which did not have a spring mounted lever / arm like the RD ...

                  • I was just surfing the net and i knew Cagiva Mito is coming to India but i am not sure if its coming in a 2 stroke version???

All the specs all over the net are displaying 2 stroke engine with a 30bhp power. Also the Ninja KRR zx150 is a 2 stroker. 29bhp which is another rumor doing rounds on net.

If that's true i guess 2 strokes will be alive and kicking again at yamaha's doors to rethink about the shut down of the 2strokes. (i wish that happens)

We are tooo late for the Mito or the KRR.. Such great bikes have been out there for more than a decade. Friggin Indian government policies.

But Yamdoot, just for discussion purposes if these two bikes meet the emission norms here in India, just in case, is there a chance they maybe allowed because I think LML is manufacturing the 2 stroke NV once more. I just dropped into their showroom next to my office.

O ya and did you use glue or tamiya plastic cement to put your RD together?

                        Thanks man!

P.S: This Shaolin is the best maintained (single owner, 40,000kms on odo) i have seen till date. Btw i have never ridden a Shaolin till date, surely will ask my friend for this beauty though.

Hi Karthik, looks like the bike has a 5 gear indicator as well on the console. If possible could you find out if the owner still has the bike manual, i just need the wiring part. Its gonna help me lot on my shaolin rebuild.

                              Thank you

                              • Went to the Kari Race Track in Coimbatore this weekend. Had awesome fun on the bigbore.

250KMs+ of full throttle riding. Despite the horrible stock footpegs and the stock tall seat, managed to make it fun. Unfortunately in the last session the bike died.

Turns out the gudgeon pin circlip on one side came loose and took out the engine.
