^^ Shogun looks excellent. Wonderful restoration there. Did you not look at the option of painting the old tail panels or even 2nd hand might have come handy?RX100 1996 | Karizma 2004 | Karizma-R 2011 | RXZ 1999 | RX 135 1998 | RX 100 1993 | CBF150 2005 - 2011

No no those are old tail panels and side panels... they were already made of metal when we bought it. Repainted the old ones.Code:It ain't important how fast u are drivin, its how u drive fast.

lol...
Even I couldn't believe about the metal panels when I went to buy the bike, but the previous owner did fabricate the panels with metal, and had done a fantastic job.Code:It ain't important how fast u are drivin, its how u drive fast.

The Shogun is looking great and the fabricated tail piece is nice. Looks like a OEOriginally posted by The Great View PostQuick Gun Shoooogun !!
1995 make, fabricated metal side panels and rear tail piece. Rare OE shogun pistons luckily found (so bought all sizes, STD - 0.5 - 1.0). With the NGK 8bphs.
Went a lot of hard-work for the rebuild but its paid off well.

Of course not sir... I bought the bike from someone who had removed the plastic ones, and got these panels made in metal for the bike. We just repaired the dents and weldings and repainted them.Originally posted by Bluesmoke View PostSo Shogun panels were originally metal!!!!!! Wow did not know that. Thanks Dinesh, it sure does look good but I wouldn't say like a OE. near match though close enough. Only when someone sees it detailed, they would then come to know its fabricated.Originally posted by Dinesh.P View PostThe Shogun is looking great and the fabricated tail piece is nice.
