Damn.......This is so wonderful, you guys have some great bikes and am enjoying seeing all the pictures. I have been out of the country for a long time and at the time i left 2 strokes were dead.....everyone told me to get rid of my RX and go in for the new 4 jokes as someone said here....Its not that I dint like the 4 strokes they are fine and more efficient et all that but the 4 strokes never made me feel what I felt on the 2 strokes..... I have had the pleasure of ridding most of the old 2 strokes including the RD and the rush of a 2 stroke was more tempting to me than any of the 4 strokes at that time....I thought then that very soon the 2 strokes will be gone in the next decade but you guys have made sure that they will never die.... Hats off to all you guys.
I have never been so excited reading forums but these restorations and the love for the 2 strokes that I see in some of the threads makes me feel like I aint the only guy around....there are so manyyyyyyyy and the good news is I never sold my RX.... it still is mine and now I feel like I should take the first available flight get my arse down there and give the girl the much required restoration that she deserves. In all the yrs that I spent with her she never let me down or broke down and she ran like the wind when I wanted her to. These memories that I have will always be with me..... I just wish I had a photo of the RX so I could share it with you guys but just to give you an idea she was very much like the photo's posted by rxfan.
Rxfan, you have a wonderful bike there.......she is just like what my RX was and I really thank you for posting these photo's
Wow ..... what a rush seeing all these bikes in this thread....man I need to get home.
BTW...whenever I do get home I will need a lot of help from a lot of you guys that are in Mumbai to get the RX back to its glory.RX 100

Thank you....BTW I am not just a fan of the RX I am in love with it....my mother used to joke about this when I was younger that she will have to look for me a girl that can bear with the RX and that my wife would be always second.... heheheheOriginally posted by rxfan View PostThank u so much..gr8 to know that u r fan too ..get back and get in touch with Arun in Mumbai..
Thankfully my wife shares my passion of bikes with me and so I still ride bikes. Unfortunately its not a 2 stroke hehehe but a good bike never the less.... have been trying to get my hands on a nice Cagiva Mito ..... there are 2 here ..... one with a blow engine and one never sold..... also have my eyes on the 2 stroke Aprillia RS125..... but it will have to wait for a while at least.
Bring it on I say rinnggggg ding ding dingRX 100

RX 100 1995
My observations:-
1. Where are the mirrors?
2. Seat is of RX135, however, I always feel RX100 seat is much comfortable.
3. As Asif said, fuel filter is available here in Chennai costs around 40 bucks. But the filter clamp component is hard to come.RX100 1996 | Karizma 2004 | Karizma-R 2011 | RXZ 1999 | RX 135 1998 | RX 100 1993 | CBF150 2005 - 2011

Sometimes i curse my self so badly for throwing away stuff that today means the so important. Like the clamp for the fuel filter Sri is talking about, the oil gauge on the 2T oil tank, the keys for the helmet lock. The speedo meter that had ESCORTS on them, the front mud flap with the ESCORTS logo on it.
I did all this when i got the bike re-conditioned 6 years back, now i realize how "stock" and factory my Dad kept it, even with the faded tank and broken side panels it really looked the way a RX should.
@All incase there is a oil gauge and oil filter clamp available please let me know.sigpic

very nice looking mods!Originally posted by Bibhu View PostHere is my RX. It is a 100 with a 135 cylinder and carb.

love the color. but somehow i feel like the tail light is not sinking in.
is it a pulsar's dics setup? and i guess its a p200's handle bar. i also see that you have moved back the foot rests. is the brake pedal custom made?
very nice set up
would love to see more pics.
