As Vijay said its a perfect fit as I have the same set up. My outer tube is of escorts.

May be some one fiddled with adapter flange. compare the adapter with your calliper... both kbx and bybre mount holes are same and interchangable.

else may be drill center error at fork outer leg mount holes .. are those gladiator legs new brought from ASC? since at scrap market so many factory rejected fork legs are avilable with such error.

Aargee, ASFAIK know there are two types of outer tubes, one is escorts made and other I don't know. The oil seals of the fork are different for both.
Please check the make of your outer tube. But I think this shouldn't be problem for mounting the caliper.
As I said before mine is escorts outer tube with the bybre golden caliper.

Thanks for the reply. I am from Malappuram district (near to calicut), kerala. Owned a RX 100 (Meroon) back in 1995 for almost three years, and really had a good time with it. Sold it (regret big time) as I was not satisfied with the FE part of it and bought a HH splendour. Since then I always wanted to buy RX, but not able to as I was in Dubai for work. Now thanks to recession, I got some free time.. . Just bought a Rx 100 (1995), which was not in a good shape. The best part was only the document side. The market for Rx 100 has gone so high in kerala that it is next to impossible to expect a good RX at good price. Now the bike is in workshop and it has been stripped down to bits and pieces. Bought loads of spare parts from here (never knew the spare parts price has gone so high). Booked chassis today and was told one week for delivery.
The parts I am in look out for is,
gear box needle bearing, piston pin bearing, Escorts sp meter (Know its hard to find), 2 t oil gauge, Rx 100 silencer exhaust, (found for rx 135, never bought as I was told it could change the sound), clutch and brake lever cover.

Which one did you order? There are two types available.

All the above parts are available. The new RX silencer has a mellowed exhaust note. You will never get same original note.
Speedo you will get pricol made and its Yamaha written on it
Check through my rebuild thread, almost all parts I bought from Kerala only.

Here I understand your requirements:-

1. Gearbox needle bearing - possible
2. Piston pin bearing (RX100) - possible
3. Escorts speedo meter - new one not possible
4. RX100 2T oil guage - new one not possible
5. RX100 muffler assembly - I would say go for RX/RXG exhaust chrome pipe. Remove the flute from old silencer and plonk it in new one. Result is good. That's what I have done on my bike.
6. Clutch and brake level rubber boot - possible.
[MENTION=52680]rxdude[/MENTION] / Nishant - After some experiments found that new muffler with old silencer works well and result is getting exhaust note resembles the good old RX100. Example :- My bike.

I was a proud owner of RX100 back in 1994. Probably the last black (with the gold border) that rolled out before Yamaha started shipping them in that horrendous red/white strips.

But what a bike. Still think about it. I came to Australia in 1996 but had two fantastic years. Dad still kept it all these years and it never missed a beat.

He finally sold it to our mechanic 2 years ago (the mechanic always would ask to buy it whenever Dad took it for servicing).

I still miss it. So much so that I again went for Yamaha when I bought a bike here in Australia.

Thanks Sree, so its time to hunt for the core in junkyards. Will look out for one, as my new one is too mute and the modified core is insanely loud.

Nishant, ok, look for the ones with free flow kind I.e no baffles. Also, I don't think it would sound just like 100 on your 135 due to bigger exhaust port, but might sound sharp treble compared to the present one on your bike.
