Does anyone know what is the number of teeth on the primary drive gear of RX 100. The driven gear of RX 100 and 135 has the same teeth number that is 74.
My question is does the RX 100 primary drive will fit to the flywheel of 135??

Nishant & Vijay, even though teeth match, still it is better to get the matched combo. There is a reason for gradation etched on the bell and primary drive I thought.

Yes Sriram, they are machined to fine measurements to match. However, if a matching pair cannot be found, an unmatched pair can be used which might give rise to some humming sound.

Problem is no one agree to the gradation. For 100 it is least heard of when compared to 135. Experienced is talking here.

@Vijay thank you for confirming this
@ Sree and Yamdoot Till now I couldn't find the gradation code for RX 100, though my driven gear has E engraved on it.

Today I measured both 135 and 100 clutch basket. The basket height is less for 100. So I don't think I can accommodate all the plates in it.

yes there will be diffrence in basket height Rx100 friction plate 5 + clutch plate(metal) 4 where as Rx135 6 friction plate +5 clutch plate.

So do you think if I stack up the plates I will end up in trouble. I am asking you as I can't experiment with the new RX 100 driven gear assy as I can return it to the dealer.

I would not recommend it to be stacked up as it might jam the ply, moreover, might even lead to issue. It's better to go for RX135 bell.

                          Hi Rxdude,

refer the attached picture. its an Rx100 clutch basket with only 4 friction plate insteed of 5. so you will not be able to stack 2 more set(2friction+2 metal plate) in the given space. 6th friction plate will be out of the basket.

Wonderful start rxdude. Few recommendations from my end:
                            1. Instead of going for a single coloured Air-Filter, go for the Multi-Coloured Foam Air Filter. It works better any day.

                            2. Michelin tyres are now made by TVS (This is an inside news by the biggest Tyre Dealer in B'lore), so i would be worried about the quality. I would say MRF or CEAT do a better job than TVS. IF you want to try imported brands go for IRC. We are using it on most of our Street Setup bikes. Even our fastest built street-spec RD350 is running on Low-Profile IRC Tyres.

                            Good Luck.

Yes on the Green 5-Speeder. On the black it is mix of IRC & Michelin (The older one).
