I would say the exhaust ports of 100 and 135 makes them unique, these flutes makes little difference and even the chrome pipe would aid in bringing the characteristics of rx series.

@rxboy. A little exaggeration it was. To correct it, the so called assembly line.
@ Sree. Sree as always on the alert. Buddy it's not fair to peep into my rebuild. LOL

Is there really any use for the assist grip with carrier. I mean does any of you find it useful?? Or is it just for the looks. Recently I spotted one (OEM)with carrier. I thought those types were not available anymore.

But the quality of OEM is pathetic. Even the shop keeper asked not to buy it. The quality of assist grip from Yamaha is pretty bad.
Does anyone know of a brand called Omesh. They are having the same carrier type assist grip and the chrome quality I find so good. It's also a couple of bucks more than OEM one.
                      Please give your comments

                        • i think the OEM quality is pretty bad now ..i had recently rebuilt my RX 100 ..with OEm parts from yamaha showroom ..but just one rain and the chrome parts are rusting ..whereas my RX 135 which is all original as came from the showroom 13 years back..still hasn't ever rusted even though it was exposed to all the elements ...

you are right, the new OE parts quality is poor especially the assist grip, dont know hoe long my new parts will last!!
