I have read a lot about premix VS autolube and has decided to go for premix only. My question is can i use the fuel filter if i premix the 2t in the tank??
Today i saw Castrol 2T, one litre costs around 350INR, but nowhere its written mineral or semi synthetic. i already bought Yamalube 2T but its semi synthetic and i cant use it in my new bore when i finish the rebuild. i would like to know whether Castrol is mineral or semi synthetic!

For the run in, go for mak 2t oil, cheap and best. Post run in you can go for premium lubes.
Why am I seeing E and as well I-series cylinders?

You expecting number to be embossed on the chassis while purchasing? Wonder how Yamaha would know the number to be punched!?!?

New chassis is available and costs around 4000 INR. How come you expect it to come with numbers punched, once you buy the chassis it's upto you to punch the number.

There is no such thing like a new chassis number. Your bikes old serial number is the number that should be punched to the new chassis. That's what Sree too meant.
How is Yamaha supposed to know your serial number?
Two types are available one the older type and the other for the last batch of RX 135 with central locking.

Guys, Chill..! Let me explain what Dinesh meant or tried conveying here..In Coimbatore the very famous YASS needs a copy of RC when ordering a new chassis. The new Chassis that comes to the showroom will be punched with the no. that is on the RC book by the YASS itself. This is to avoid any illegal practices with regards to the chassis. Hope the procedure is clear. That is what Dinesh tried conveying and ended up telling something else.

Vijay, atleast it is not new, like Ram said that is the process. Only Ambal Auto - Chennai follow that process. Other YASS have diluted such a way that they give directions where you can get it done. You know when there is a third party doing, there an amount of leniency can be bought.

If possible, Try to get Gulf Pride 2T. Its Semi synthetic and cheap also. I put this oil after rebuilding the engine throughout the run in period. SInce I feel this oil better, Still continuing the same oil.

20 w 40 is the recommended one. Synthetic may be you have to use after the running in period So it will be waste to spend on expensive synthetics.
