Tell us more about the restoration. What and all changes did to the engine and carb? Did you do rebore? Is your bike in running in period? Without further details noone can give you any trial and error possibilities.

Oversmoke cant be resolved by changing the carb.It can be because of one of many reasons. Can be because of rich setting in carb with excess oil. It can be because of excess 2T oil from pump setting. Excess gear oil which may burn sometimes. Sparkplug. Or even worn out clutch for which you may be giving extra throttle. Take it to a good mechanic and find the right reason. Also check exhaust for extra carbon deposit. Blasting sound might be because of mufler modification. Install a stock 135 mufler and check the sound.

The bike has a entire new cylinder and cylinder head .everything is new except the carburettor . a doubt maybe if the cylinder isnt sitting pretty i guess . not a correct match ????

Hello guys i have got an yamaha rx-100 (1994) model though the bike is running fine but now she is demanding new rear shock absorbers i just want to know that should i go with the stock escorts or endurance shock absorbers or should i opt for endurance gas charged shocks the ones which are fitted on pulsar 150 which one will be best.
                      Thanks

From my experience Endurance is softer than Escorts & Gabriel.
Gas loaded shocks (from Pulsar) doesn't do any justice in RX for solo rides (with Pillion it's a different story altogether) It is designed for a heavier bike.

Yeah becuase of this pillion ride issue i was thinking of some heavy duty shocks how much of this gas charged shocks will do justice and do i have to make some modification to the bike.

With my OE shocks (came along with the bike) ride with pillion will be bouncy and it used to bottom out, no such issues with Gas loaded one. So far so good in one of my RX

No specific modification required to mount it. It is bit longer (1 inch approx) than OE shocks, so ride height will get increased.
Both tires may touch the ground when using center stand.
