Re: Random Questions regarding the RX series
Usually chain sprocket kit comes with front/rear/sprockets, nuts, bolts and washer with chain and chain joint. I think you must have purchased each piece separately. Put 16t sprocket on the front. Whats the current teeth count on front sprocket? If its 15t, installing this 16 will give a little more top end.Originally posted by Monish Bakre View Post2)It has 71 teeth ( it hv some play between gear & clutch basket)

Also check the carbeurator tuning. Maybe the mechanic must have made the fuel mix little richer for the running in period. Tune it properly.Last edited by vimalnair4u; 11-25-2016, 05:44 PM.Happy & Safe Riding to All

As boss mentioned, you can go up to 3.00. But its not required as RX is a light bike and riding comfort will also change. If you are going with 17" your speedo reading will have a slight difference.Happy & Safe Riding to All

What I'm saying is to decrease the rim size and put a slightly wider tyre....
Keeping the size of the whole assembly same as before but put a little bigger tyre to make the ride more comfortable.....

Re: Random Questions regarding the RX series
Any specific reason to go for rear pattern in front? IMO a regular (Front pattern) 2.75x18 is more than sufficient.Originally posted by Arun V Dev View Postcan i use my rear tyre (3.00-18) as my front tyre?

To answer your question, Yes it is possible. there are people using the same in RX, but I couldn't comment on the advantages.
