not all. There are very rare. Failures i guess.

News to me!!! I thought these L-R mounted fins provided more cooling ability (remember the RD's, they used to make about 45 Bhp...aircooled

This was released only during a particular model. probably early 74's. But they stopped the this after that. there should be some reason for that. So i am kind of guessing.

^^^ My Father had a 72 model Yezdi; I was browsing through the pics a few weeks ago & was quite surprised to see that one has this type of fins. I was not sure if my Father had a replacement fins (got carried away due to RD). The above post clarifies.

Will try posting that pic sometimes. Hope you don't mind.

72 yezdi? not possible argee. Jawas were rolling from mysore till mid 73. Once the contract was stopped Yezdis were manufactured. So First model of Yezdi was the Model B. It was in production from 73 mid. Check and let me know please. Very curious to know.

Srini, the tank is that of Jawa, but the engine is Yezdi? because the Jawa engines were rounded? Am i right....I'm confused. But all the same it is a beauty alright! What was the tank switch for? I'm new to all Jawas and Yezdi's, except for the auto-clutch I dont know very much else.

This is my 1979 Model B.
Mods made: Jawa Tank Key ( not the original Tank key, Fabricated one), Jawa original Throttle, Flower head, Jawa 559 Nacelle& Speedometer, Jawa Tail Lamp, Jawa handle bar.

The tank switch is the ignition switch.
