Since its a CDI roadking, I can only assume that the carb needs cleaning and so does the plug if the bike wasn't in use for a long time.

Regarding RPM/Vibes - All yezdi's are low RPM high torque natured engines (2.1kgm @3500RPM /2.43kgm on @4700RPM) and revving them hard is not gonna produce any great results. I make this statement because most new people don't look at this fact that the engine is a different design compared to say your rev happy Rx135 4 speed which makes peak power at around 6500RPM. Don't look at just the 16 horses on the roadking - the torque and power are at lower rpms compared to modern bikes so keep that in mind while riding and you will leanr how to ride in the zone.

Are you sure? Heard about RD350 ever?

I appreciate your love for Jawa/Yezdi bikes but statement like this would evoke unwanted argument which is not required.

                        • Hey guys, this is my first post in the Exotics section.
My uncle has a Yezdi D250 Classic lying around and he wants me to take it and restore it and use it. The bike was running fine until it back kicked and my uncle parked it in the corner and it has been standing for almost 3 years. Any idea how much would it cost to bring it back to running condition? Even I haven't seen it yet and it is in Nashik.
It was running perfect 3 years ago. Will the engine seize on its own upon sitting idle?

                            • Hi Pavan, the Engine will not seize if kept idle. You need to check if you are able to start the bike and ride it in this condition. You might have to work on the engine.
