The Yezdi CB-Points system is very reliable as it does not need a battery to operate (Unlike the RD350 / Yezdi 350 <some variants>)

If u have 5k to spare, I would recommend u pick up spares or use the money to rebuild / xfer the bike in your name...

Yesterday I have seen a guy with Two Roadkings in a workshop...
Talking with him I came to know that he got damn craze for Yezdi s and he own RXs tooo. One RK was in black and the other n Maroon. Maroon one finish was like a showroom bike. He told me like the Maroon bike is the one made by him by collecting all the parts..it is having a bigger size fuel tank which can hold 22 ltrs of fuel......
Me got snaps of that Maroon bike, will post it here...I told him about Xbhp, hope he will be joining here soon...

The wiring is all messed up, the kick ratchet assy is messed up and the crank is jammed shut ...

One cylinder is std sleeved the other is unsleeved 0.40 oversized .... the piston on that one is missing.

There are a few interesting things though .... the left cylinder has "21" stamped on the inner side ... indicating the 21bhp version (?)

The jawa 634 was rated at 26 bhp in europe and central asia....

the head has both cz and jawa stamped on it ...

Any way ... back to the hunt ... will be looking for spares now .....

At least I know what i need now !!!
                    Hi Alok,
sorry missed this thread all these days.....dunno how
Well , at present your YZD 350 has a Mag-dynamo ignition as of JAWA 250, instead of " Alternator Inginition", but this is better than CDI , if you are intented to go for it!!
Your mag-dynamo Ignition is made with Jawa mag dynamo , fitted with Twin point base plate of your Jawa twin itself, even cam belongs to Jawa twin !!
So , even you can start & run your YZD twin , without Battery like CDI, provided if wiring is done to run it on AC ( couldn't make it out from the pic)
dunno how come tuffryder missed this point about POINTS
Dont want to multi quote, with you post @ page 61...where you have discussed about " contact breaker & capacitor discharged Ignition"....this is for your kind info buddy!!

Here you go buddy with the few Honda bikes you are refering for this CLUTCH issues
                      Honda Cub
It all started way back at end of '50s.....from Cub 50cc, 60cc, 90cc & 100cc
The one posted below is my HONDA CUB C90 ( no clutch-3 speed)-1976, manufactured by BOONSEIW HONDA / Malayasia

And also find this HONDA CD 125 (4stroke twin ,with auto clutch & roatary gear box- 4 speed)---1969 YOM.
ps: This Honda's Clutch mechanism differs a bit from our YEZDI/Jawa, can be termed as Semi auto Clutch, as it has a roatary Gear shift pattern, it hardly doesn't need a CLUTCH..but it is there ...

Also a Monkey Bike.(commonly refered in India)..a Honda produce ( HONDA Dax)--belongs to a youngster at my place, also a Rotary gear box stuff with Semi Auto Clutch
