    Thanks for the advice roadking.

Actually I've had the bike for 8 years now.

    Changes that've been made:

1.Hard chrome plated bore. So no chance for reboring. I'll have to get a new barrel. No two ways about it.

    2.Double clutch chain.

3.Front for assembly from the Enfield Fury along with the disc brake(operational) and 18 inch alloy wheels. BTW, they're magnesium, NOT Aluminum.

4.Resproketed the bike. Forgot the sproket sizes. I think the rear is a shoguns'. This was to compensate for the 18 inch wheels. With the original sprokets there was literally no pickup and the bike would really strain but on the highway the top speed would be over 135kmph. With the new sprokets it's got shattering acceleration. I can slide the rear tyre in turns while accelerating!

Cuz of the increased power, the disc brake REALLY comes in handy. I ca even pull off stoppies!

    5. The handle is actually made from a Maruti 800's steering coloumn rod. The bike fell a couple of times in the parking area but absolutely no damage to the handle! It's kind of like a crash guard.

I think I gave it for complete servicing last year or even before that. I dont think there's a drop of oil in the crankcase.

This is the ultimate maintainance free bike.lol

I've had a lot of other mods done but cant remember them all right now.

Will post later when I remember them.

    FYI, I also have a 74 Jawa & a 95 Roadking.

Greetings to you too Twin Pied Piper!

The reason I dint buy the 350 is cuz of the lack of spare parts. Plus, the mechs dont even know how to tune a carb properly, let alone twin carbs! BTW, doit have 1 or 2 carbs?

Can you post some pics of your bike?. Thanks

cool description of ur bike hafee i hope u could post a pic of ur bike
how was the mod to fury front setup does it give a cushy ride..did u have to change any thing or was it a straight bolt affair..cos my front fork is kinda hard my
palms n wrists ache on bad roads..so i taped up cushy soft grips..lol

Well, the front forks DO give a very plush ride without sacrificing handling. Although it's a little 'different cuz the front is smooth and the rear shox are hard as ever. Am thinking of fitting CBZ shockers at the rear. But I dont think they'll be able to handle the additional weight of the bike. I guess they'll squat as soon as I get the bike off the mainstand.

Also, the weight distribution of my bike is biased to ward the front. so the handling is pretty great with loads of front end grip. I find that usually Yezdis' suffer from a lack of front end grip, more so with a ribbed tyre.

I have a problem with the headlight. The bike has CB Points and is 12 volts.

When I bought the bike, the headlight with a 35/35 12V bulb would give great illumination. somewhere along the way the light dimmed to a yellowish glow. Not at all adequate at night on the city roads, forget about the highway.
Then I changed the bulb to 25/25. Now the lught is ok but I dont know why a 35/35 watt bulb wont work.
I had the winding changed, and got the magnet recharged. Nothing seems to work. And oh! I even got the entire wiring loom changed! Nothing seems to work!

        HELP!!!

And to be honest, most of the major mods like the front fork transplant were already done on the bike before I bought it! That's why I bought it!

Anyhow, the entire triple clamp had to be changed.I dont think you'll need to do any major mods.

If it interests you, the alloys can take a good beating over extremely bad roads. I know because I used to ride over this dirt track that I 'discovered' near my house. It was fit for 500cc dirt bikes! And I used to pound my bike for hours on end there. The locals must've thought I was nuts! Anyway, the wheels & front fork took it all in their stride. The fron shox have about 8 inches of travel

Now I do have a problem with the front fork oil seals. I blew one on the left side when I accidently hit a deep pothole at 100kph+. Gotta vouch for the stability of the bike cuz it just took it in its stride!

Anyway, know where I can get some new oil seals for the Fury shox?

hehe, i just noticed that I'm writing mini stories everytime I reply to a post!

the_twin_piedpiper......yep i was.... a hell into MIRC... my other nick was sidds.
So...do v know each oder thru da Mirc ????wat was yor nick dere ? which channelz u frequented ??

          damn nice modz hafee....
but i choose on taking on mods without actually altering the original framework of the bike....just keeping it original.
I used to take my bike out on some real bad roadz....take it...REAL BAD !!
My rear and front shox workin real nice... but recently i was riding it in a lil "drag race" method....so the bikez exhaust sound has changed drastically...and now soundz more like a Kb125 with WRC car's debreathers or missfiring kinda sounds to be more precize.
Well..still itz kinda fun... i servizd my bike and took a Willie on da 2nd gear.....
But dont think...da 3rd gear will work :P
i dont like the drugs but the drugs like me....

            Sorry guys,
was busy with some mundane business stuff.
Anyway, @Hafeexius, the 350 yeadi, unlike the RD, has only one carb. As for the pics of my bike.. I think I will take some time. The looks of the bike is pretty bad and needs to be painted and chromed( for it was in the factory for about 10-11 years). Whatever money I have now, I am spending in buying 2 more engines.
@Sidds, the world is really small place. I was an operator in #calcutta. I had nicks like soul_snatched, embryio and some insane bengali names.
How are u doing these days?
I do not need a $ex partner, my bike screws me enuf!

a new bore-piston set is Rs. 1800, in Mysore... At the factory it was going for Rs. 800 to us laymen... so the dealer prolly got it for a lot lesser...!!!

Eyah as joe was telling about he jawa 350, may b u could have got hte bike new for 12K but then u wont have th papers, then u have to change all rubber parts for the bike as they must have been perished. then it will take 2k-3k for the mech to fix the bike.
so instead u can restore a roadking to mint condition!!!!!
