    This is my 95 CDI model RK :




    About 3K worth repairs due ... nothing on the engine and carb - fork,rim,battery,wiring etc. Will start work on it after 21st or so

          me too had '86 YEZDI classic for 3 yrs then sold it off great engine. amazing torque but terrible brakes... almost hit a cow once and fell...
          very cheap spares lots of fun to ride

                      my father had yezdi 250 classic before i was born...bought new in 1984 same year model used for fours years ....no probs at alll ..sold it because wanted to move in four wheeler !!!! my dad used to ride at 100 kmph !!! does not allow me on my uni !!!


                      i wish dad had preserved for me !!!

                        Guys, how much will a Roadking in decent shape(not needing any engine work) cost?
                        Also, how much with a Roadking needing engine work, etc cost?

                        I am interested in a Roadking, at the end of this year. So, I'd like estimates from Yezdi owners here so that I save up a few bucks for it each month.

                          Depends on cosmetics also since most sellers will harangue over it.

                          In Mysore you can pick one up - decent looking one - for about 8K with next to nothing engine work. Remember that such owners know that no engine work means the bike will demand more value. So they will quote a steeper than usual price.

                          Engine work - well an engine rebore plus ancillaries will not cost more than 2.5K max I think. A new borepiston kit will cost about 3K IIRC - that was the price in Mysore a few months ago...if you can still get it that is ..

                          Otherwise there is not much work on this bike ..its a simple machine.
