Switched to curve 2 today on the RDD cdi, had to short the green wire to the blue, bike is running much better and much cooler than before, i am loving the midrange smoothness.
Waiting for 5 speed tank and shields to arrive, planning to get a 100/90 kit too very shortly bike will be black, will preserve the current maroon tank as its in mint condition still."Engine tuning is not an exact science, but with some practice and patience you'll get comfortable with your skill and be able tune for any conditions mother nature throws at you"

Installed the shogun engine kill switch yesterday switching off the engine at long signals and big traffic jams are easy now, for a change changed the 2t oil 220ml for 6 litres of fuel 150ml of petronas and 70ml of jetex (mixing ratio of 70-30%), earlier was using mak 2t, the annoyying sound from the engine reduced completly now after changing the 2t oil, did some 40kms yesterday evening engine is absolutely silent now, the culprit was mak2t.
Nithin the sound which you pointed out yesterday in gone now
, it was nice meeting you yesterday. hope you liked my stock bike

Keep Going But I need Your help Bro's
This is quite interesting to know about Rx's and their modification's done, this bike looks a beauty and well maintained, and many have shared alot of ideas views in all what i read here. But i need your help guys,i have a 88 Rx100 in a good condition as it is a single hand use, recently the engine was rebuilt with genuine spares, but i wanted to modify the look of the bike i have kept the bike all original, the only modification i wanted to make is replace the clutch and the magnet cover to that of a Rx 5speed,so i bought both the covers,But when we changed the covers we had to change the oil pump to that of the 5speed because the one of the RX100 is different to that of the 5speed.But even after fixing the oil pump of the 5speed we had the problem with the accelerator wire, the problem was the wire which pulls the oil pump was getting big by almost an inch. Then thought of changing the accelerator wire to that of the 5speed(thought it might be different compared to the Rx100 wire)but could not find and shop keepers said its the same for all Rx's,The point here is when i have put all genuine parts then why this problem has arised. Can any of you guys can help me out with this if you have any idea on this please try to help me because the bike looks really cool with those covers changed.

The bore sound from my bike is also same, I think I should also change 2T. I bought Shell VSX2.
If yours is a 'stock' bike what is a modified one
Yeah, I like the bike coz it is not too loud/jetang in terms of cosmetics
Plonk an original mud-guard, get the chain case painted and it will look like a star
