I have no contacts in Faridabad.. Can you suggest anyone's name?

I have googled RM tools, Faridabad; however not sure if it's the same you mentioned.

What I got from google is - RM Tools Enterprises - Plotn O. 7-8, A-Block, Sanjay Colony, Sector-22, (Near Ganda Nana Bridge), Faridabad, 121005

True... @2007 mid i bought abore kit for only Rs 2800 but at 2008 last or early 2009 it shooted up to Rs 8200.. they started playing number puzzel with price tags.

many items just only done repacking with new price tags

Last week I checked with my Mech about boar+piston kit for RX100 .. He said Yamaha charges 11500/- for it now..

@All:- For those who wants metal keys, all you'll need is to find blank metal keys and have it done at the key maker for a fraction. If you have too much of money and want to dump in the drain, there are many 'agents' selling 2T spares at high price, you might consider this option as well.

Hi SriRam,

Shailesh here from Mumbai. I will be starting the restoration of my RX100 (1988) Model. Would be starting a new thread soon with it's pictures in current state.

I will need your help in it..

To start with, I have one question ringing in my mind - What is the 100% full proof way of identifying OE spares?

I know the standard one - to check it's packing for Yahama Symbols by scratching it.. However i dont think it is full-proof..

Let me know if there is any other method..

There is no fool proof method as such, some precautions you can take are,
Buy from a genuine dealer and get the bill. There is less chance that old dealers don't keep spurious parts.
Check the hologram
Check the part number.
Check the fit and finish of the product.

You can get original crank assy. for 3500/- from Yamaha. go for it.

above items can be found with a dealer or after market seller, wiring kit from Minda

3. RXZ 5z front wheel spokes...Fiero F2 disc front spokes can be used without any issues

I did not get Rxz wiring kit from dealer here. Yes minda is what I'm looking at.

Fiero f2 spokes itself is hard to find.....let me know if you can help.
