100% DUPLICATE, and I know why I am saying this, don't even need a barcode scanner for this, still your observation is perfect, the barcode should read out the part number and also 2 additional zeros ....

Guys, i bought this Yamaha RX100 wiring harness from Pragati Auto parts, Mumbai (Sells only Yamaha parts), which came in the Yamaha genuine spares box. However, the barcode reads "12345678" instead of the product code. Any idea if the wire harness in the picture is genuine or not? who is the OEM for Wiring harness?
Previously, this shop use to sell only genuine yamaha spares, but now i see they mix a lot of Delhi made local stuff claiming that the same comes from the company.[ATTACH=CONFIG]155277[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]155278[/ATTACH]

Yeah it's fake, what you can do is you can complain directly to the company with a snap of this wiring, atleast by this way other purchaser will not be fooled by this seller.

Its has almost become extinct, those who got extra keep for future as Yamaha stopped supplying. One chance is to try with old dealers to see your luck.

one of my friend told me today that brand new clutch case of rxz is available along with worm kit and cable assembly and he quote me 850 + 850 + 200 inr for that. I m little bit confused about the genuineness of it as i never saw that item in person .
i wanna know that how to check originality and actual cost of the items.

secondly i wanna change the chasis and what is the procedure for legalise it.

new chasis has serial no punched on it or we have to punch that no??

one of my friend told me today that brand new clutch case of rxz is available along with worm kit and cable assembly and he quote me 850 + 850 + 200 inr for that. I m little bit confused about the genuineness of it as i never saw that item in person .

New chassis comes plain blank you have to punch the older chassis no on to the newer chassis.

btw documentation and chasis replacement are the major part of my restoration once it complete i will restore my bike with WOT
here i need to bug you friends hope you guide me in right direction , i will only ask the qns to you when i am completely stuck.

Usually chasis changing would involve RTO inspection and given approval only if the existing is withered and unfit due to rust beyond repair or due to damage. You will need to obtain the frame from the authorized showroom with invoice so that RTO gives the approval before the numbers are punched. Long story short, I have gone ahead and bought the frame in 2010 and changed not because of above reasons but just that I want to have a new chasis to extend the RX135 life. But I went to shed where they do these jobs however, I had to produce the vehicle papers so they would do the job. I admit that what I did was out of mere enthusiasm and old frame is still there in my house as is. Down the lane I would even give it off to some deserving restoration project.


FYI.. I even got the FC done with the same chasis and luckily no questions were asked as there was slight misalignment on the way it was punched. :P

Nice to read i have ordered chasis in yash auto ahmednagar they quoted me 3600 inr and waiting period of one.and half month.

existing chasis is well aligned but got heavily rusted at the bottom of seat and some small holes are created due to rust , i had welded it but not look at that like a permanent solution hence wanna change it to play safe and longer.

i hope your shared experience sure fuel my slow moving restoration.
