    I second and third and fourth that.. Lets Zero in on Munnar. The KL gang just had a mega G2G there so they have already done the homework on the place so no need to break heads over accomodation, etc!

    Lets close the poll in 7 days from now what say everyone one. We'll go by what ever is the most voted for date.

        7 days is too long. If 19-20th is selected then we have less than a month at hand. Lets close the poll by 19th night and we will go by the maximum voted date.

          Can the KL guys share the info on the costs for accommodation?? Are there dormitories there in Munnar? If yes how about hiring the dorms basically to secure the luggage and helmets and stay in the tents(if we could source them!!) and bon-fire; anyone??? ............... jinga-la-la hu-hu jinga-la-la......

            19th is a bit too early considering the numbers expected for this G2G.

            Lets close it by Friday this week.

              @Praful - Agreed; close the poll after a while, otherwise, we'll get 100's of opinions.

              Its quite near compared to Chennai , but there're 2 routes...
              1. Coimbatore-Pollachi-Udumalaipet-Devikulam-Munnar
              2. Coimbatore-Palakkad-Thrissur-Chalakkudi-Angamaly-Kothamangalam-Nerimangalam-Adimali-Munnar

              Obviously the latter takes double the time of the former as the first one is full of hill rides & the latter is most of highways followed by hill ride from Adimali (may be even from Nerimangalam, not sure). May be guys who're staying far off could do a full circle, like Chennai guys for example hehe!!!

                  Well...Its Munnar then. What say guys ? Man its gonna be kick-ass fun at Munnar. Now lets start planning other things. Fix the destination and date as fast as possible.

                  Praful bhai, make the excel sheet etc ready

                  Are we get dance floor in Munnar ? With some kick-ass DJ Mix ?

                        I'm sure you must be most interested in the off-roading we did, but if we are zeroing it down to Munnar and want to do the off-roading, let's get permission this time for a change... Last time we had issues with the forest guards for passing through the forest on our bikes in huge numbers (20 bikes)...

                            Distances and times??? I ride in a relaxed / lazy mode. If there is scope for 100kmph, I ride at 80-85kmph. If there is a scope for 80kmph, I ride at 65-70kmph and so on. Thats around 15% as room for error. If the guys in the group want to go high speed, me being around will irk some of them.

                              Hyper Speed - 120+
                              Fast - 80-110
                              Slow Group - 60-80

                              Ofcourse this would vary with the conditions of the roads. The Hyper Speed guys can't do 120's on narrow state highways
