If u say u r 5 mins away from RMZ, then pop into the BIG Bazaar and u'll find many there. I think Duckback is the best and would cost about 800 or so for a Top+Bottom set.Originally posted by archibaby View PostSo we'll need rain gear .. I need to buy some .. thx man .. you are talking about a proper raincoat is it .. haven't bought rain gear before so I thought there'll be something specific for riders. Anyway will check it out and I may have a top lying at home already.

Buy a 2-piece one, try and find one that has elastic at the wrist and feet ends, helps a lot in keeping the water out.Originally posted by archibaby View Postthx man .. you are talking about a proper raincoat is it .. haven't bought rain gear before so I thought there'll be something specific for riders. Try and avoid dark colours, as you need to visible on the road!
A flap over the zipper for the top is a must to keep water at bay, and a high-neck type will keep a lot of water from seeping in through the neck, which is usually a problem while riding.
If it has stitches, ensure that the inside has a covering that is stuck over stitches to avoid water seeping in through the stitches!
Phew! Thats a breif 101 for a biker's raincoat!

the rain suits are no where near the 800 bucks mark .. or are these prices overly inflated ? .. any option to buy a bottom alone as my jacket is waterproof and has a hood with a high collar.

Y dont u go to big bazaar and chk out the options available? I doubt if u'll get just a waterproof pair of pants alone.Originally posted by archibaby View Postthe rain suits are no where near the 800 bucks mark .. or are these prices overly inflated ? .. any option to buy a bottom alone as my jacket is waterproof and has a hood with a high collar.
