Did you have a chance to meet Ramesh Madhavan from xBhp? He's also an avid solo rider, currently in Jaipur.

Pan India Trip
I reached Jaipur comparatively early, by 4pm, found accommodation, freshened up and from 5 to 9 pm was just loitering. I had no idea that some other xBhpian was touring the town.Originally posted by aargee View PostShoots again

Thank you! That's a pretty heavy word and I'm not sure I can bear the burden! Of course! It will be my pleasure to meet Hyderabad xBhpians. It'll be a perfect home coming!Originally posted by Juris View Post"RESPECT".

Thanks! Shettre. Biking is a passion and like any passion it thrives on spirit. And spirit in turn is a multiplied derivative of like minded/passioned people. So the spirit which you are considering mine is sum total of all of you people who have made the biking their passion. So thank you all!!Originally posted by IronHide Shetty View PostJust read the thread and the replies and updates from your side. Sounds really interesting and really sincere respect for your biking spirit. Keep it on sir and have a safe ride.Takecare

Ahmedabad...hmm...I remember a guy Ayaz, very nice & kind person whom I met in my first trip to RJ during Sep 2011. However he doesn't seem to be active (or may be I'm not following close enough). He helped me cross Ahmedabad towards Palanpur.Originally posted by praholla View PostWill leave for Ahmedabad tomorrow morning.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Pan India Trip
Thanks guys! For the concern & wishes. Well this is an eventuality that every biker has to come to terms with one time or the other. I started around 6.15am from Ahmedabad towards Daman and half an hour later five dogs chasing one dog came suddenly across the road and I at a peed of around 70-80km could do nothing but go through the bunch. I hit one of the dogs bang in the middle (was hoping to hit either of its ends!) and fell along with the bike. Some construction workers lifted the bike, my things and me. I removed the helmet and saw that it was badly scratched on the left side and felt pain in the left forearm and saw a bulge. I realised that my forearm bone was broken. One of the construction supervisor Ganpathbhai took me to one Sharma Hospital where the X-ray showed that one of left forearm bones was clearly broken. The doctor said that it needs plating. Then I contacted my family doctor a reputed orthopaedic surgeon and was asked to come down to my home town. With the help of a family fried in Ahmedabad I took the evening flight to Hyderabad and then in the next morning was driven to my home town Karimnagar. In a couple of days I'll be operated upon in Hyderabad. The vehicle is in Ahmedabad and needs left foot peg, faring, blinker, visor and a few other parts replaced. The Apex Honda people said that it might be a while before they can get all the parts. I don't yet know when the doctor will permit me to ride, but once he does I'll resume my tour from Ahmedabad and finish it, which according to my schedule will take another ten days max. Till then I need to lie low I guess. I hope that I'll be able to finish the trip soon. Once again thanks guys!
