In Ladakh, no need to apply for permits at DC's Office, Leh from May 1 onwards. ID cards such as DL/ PAN/ Aaadhar, etc should be carried as proof of Indian identity & will act as Inner Line Permits (ILPs). All popular places covered, but not places like Chushul, Tsaga, Demchok, Hanle & M la - for that, you have to still go to DC's Office in Leh. One more god news is that for those coming from Manali side, they can now go to Tso Moriri too direct.
Places which are covered by above mentioned process are Nubra Valley/Turtuk/Panamik, Pangong Lake, Tso Moriri & also Batalkik sector. Names which are missing are Marisimik la/ Chushul/ Tsaga/ Hanle/ Demchok/ FukcheLast edited by saquib3005; 04-24-2014, 11:54 AM.Leave a comment:
