By saying that you have to do a 500kms ride with us before Leh, we simply want to make sure that you are a safe rider, a team player & match our riding styles. Not a big deal for you, but for us it is as we want you & us to be safe & enjoy every bit of the BIG ride, I hope you understand
and yes i'm a very safe rider... you won't get no stunts or useless ripping from me coz I care about my machine...

I would also suggest to meet-up in person who are confirmed for this ride. It will help you guys to interact well & decide upon a concrete plan. Get the dox like maps, plan, things to carry etc.. & meet up

As we all have different timings & plans, we'll divide in 2 or 3 groups of 4 or 5 each. Even if we are leaving at the same time from Mumbai, we'll have to divide somewhere midway or just before the Ghat starts if we are on schedule. And then meet at Leh directly, though we'll cross each other many times on-route, we should follow our group rather than stopping or plan accordingly

I'm joining your team too. If we're finalising things by this weekend, we could book tickets and get going.
If we're looking at Jun 6, 2010 as the start date, we shud target reaching delhi by the evening of Jun 4, 2010. If this is finalized, we can book train tickets first thing in the morning on Apr 4, 2010.
