You don't have options in Ceat tubeless in 18" rim sizes. Good offroad = Ceat Gripp.

Installed Michellin Pilot sporty rear 120 section on my P200 yesterday. Looks like a 100 section MRF from behind! Upgraded/Downgraded to it from PSD 140 rear.
So far its been okay, lets see how it handles in future.

Not at all, indeed, TVS tires are notoriously puny, but with a good set of choice and size, the performance is positively affected. Consider in my case where my rear was a 90/90 too, but now I am using 100/90 and the difference and lateral stability have increased by a good margin.

They usually cost 2.9 to 3 and upwards

And one more important thing I would like to add here.. I was facing wobbling and shaky handle bars with my old MRF tyres and the noise from the front mask.... Its all gone now Never thought that a good tyre will solve so many minor problems.. I am highly satisfied by these tyres.. Gonna change my rear tyres soon, so please suggest me which one I could go for? I searched for sirac street for rear but it wasnt available in the market.
If you can hunt down for the Dunlop Monster or the VYDE both are good set of rubbers for the rear. You can consider Michelin Sirac M45 eeef you can lay your hands on one.

VYDE is good for cornering and offers excellent dry grip, currently doing duty on one of my bikes. For Apache, you have Zapper C Q or Ceat Rage all are good tires. But VYDE is an affordable all rounder. Next you have Mo Grip Meteor series.

MPS is soft compound and is fares well on most bikes, though it wears quite a fast compared to other tires. But compared to PSDs they aren't a huge hole in the pocket.

                      Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                      THE END

Purchased Michelin pilot sporty 120/80-17 for 2800 rupees here in Bangalore. Actual cost is upward of 3000. But since the shop keeper had committed the price to me he gave it at that price. Like someone mentioned above looks like a 100 section tire because of the round profile. But the grip of the tire should be good since I had earlier used the same tire in 110 section. Will wait for some 500 kms for the tire to run in.

And yes these tires are made in India contrary to the one imported from Thailand that I had earlier. Have to check if they have tweaked the compound for Indian conditions.

If its the 'Made in India' Michelin, then its definitely a harder compound and does not grip in wet conditions.

Post a pic of the rear.

But the compound feels soft to touch. Much softer than the zapper vyde I had earlier.

                                Will post a pic tomorrow.
