Arun, I used a 100/90 Monster on my ZMA for about 12k km. I was happy with it's performance, it inspired confidence in the wet. Performance fell away at about the 12k mark.Originally posted by Arun Cheloor View PostNo one using Dunlop Monster 120/80/19 on their bulls?
I'm using the Zapper Q 110/90 now and its performance is IMO inferior to that of the Monster in all conditions that are not perfect tarmac.

Hey guys. I have completed 30,000 kms+ on my MRF Meteor 110/90-18 and i will be changing my rear tire soon..the tyre is still pretty good and is not yet bald but i don't want to take risks on long rides...
The performance of my ageing bike(almost nearing 4 years) is not like it used to be when it was relatively new..so definitely i will be downsizing my new tire..
But the dilemma for me now is whether to go for a 100/90-18 section or a 90/90-18 section Zapper Q.
The Fiero F2/Fx used to run on 90/90-18 section rear and my Apache 150 shares the exact 147.5cc engine from the Fiero. So performance wise it won't be a big difference..the problem now is how the bike will look after fitting a 90/90 section on the rear??..won't it look too skinny and spoil the look of the rear? or will it be just fine??....
opinions are most welcome!!...

Arun, the dunlop monster performs decently, but it is quite heavy compared to say a mrf zapper q of the same size. Check it out for yourself and feel the weight difference. You can also see it the ceat secura sport 100/90 is available in 19inch.RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!

Go for 100/90 -18, the latter would look too skinny & destroys the looksOriginally posted by apacherenator View Post

The increase in performance is directly proportional to the size of the hole in your pocket :D

My advice is to go for MRF Meteor 110/90-19''....The tyre is really awesome, doesn't wear out for 30k kms,has amazing off roading character bcoz of its big button pattern, good traction and very comfortable for highway cruising also!!..Originally posted by Arun Cheloor View PostNo one using Dunlop Monster 120/80/19 on their bulls?
