rollers/sliders - different name same thing/function. but yes, rollers are the round ones(that come as stock) and slider's are the ones that have a flat side (like dr.pulleys slides), and there is a lot of debate on the advantages of sliders vs rollers
(guess its like the coffee bite argument) - i haven't had any issues with the rollers & haven't used the sliders so cant comment on them.rollers are easier to procure and cheaper than sliders. the trick is to find the correct combo of roller weights and clutch springs for a nippier pickup without affecting the 'top end'
. (because if your clutch springs/shoes are worn out and you experiment with the rollers you might not get as good a result as with a clutch in proper condition)check this out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TnkUIecRE4
this is exactly how its looks and functions, if you notice at 11s on this video you will see the clutch engaging with the clutch bell(the outer thing that you see rotating) the engine spins up initially (the front is the variator mechanism with has the rollers) and only at a certain rpm ( what you do by changing the roller weights is changing this rpm) the clutch engages and thus transferring power to the rear wheel)

I saw it and did a little research and found that Roller weights and slider weights.... What is difference between them ?
)..
hehe ! And of the up jetting.. I told my local mech that if i can source the bigger jets in carb.. He just plainly refused that there's no such thing as bigger jets for carb and they just come in a standard size for all vehicals ( I know that he's wrong in this topic bt anyways its good to get some knowledge )
Anyhoo... Thankyou for the help !
that adding a freeflow Filter to Activa or Aviator can cause such damage to the interior of the engine... What your mech told you when he checked the cause of it ? Was it JUST the airfilter or something else too ?
