I am planning to covert my GS150R to full DC using Pulsar UG4 RR. Pulsar UG4 RR is a full DC bike and its RR should do the job as I plan to use 35W headlamp. I am posting a pic of the RR. Could anyone please let me know which two wires go to the +ve and -ve terminal of the batter and which two to the ignition coil. There are four wires: 1. Blue-white 2. Blue-white 3. Black-yellow 4. White.

I will deeply appreciate the help/assistance.

Yes, I rewound with 19 SWG wire and made it full DC. However, it seems to be sufficient only for 35W and not 55W. Because, when the HID is on, the horn sounds very weak. I have a 3.5 Amp windtone horn. Also, I am using a Chinese HID, which must be consuming more than 35W. The charging has certainly improved a lot. However, the current produced now is just about sufficient for HID + stock horn + other stock lights viz., turn signals and tail lamp etc. I guess rewinding with 18SWG wire is required for better functioning in DC more. Rest, there are experts on this forum, who can guide much better.

If 200NS's RR is available at your place, I will give you further information like pics, amperage, heat dissipation etc.

Thanks... So ape RR is not necessary... I am planning to do it my self... (Only rewinding) fitting RR will be done by electrical mechanic... So which is best... Fz or 200ns RR unit.. Most reliable...
Light up 55/60w instead of stock 35 and flicker free... Also like to install mobile charger etc..

Can't you get the ape rr if not then why just curious to know.
Yes you can use 200 ns rr these parts generally never get kaput as there are no moving parts inside.

Currently I ride a Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme 2009 model. I purchased a pre owned model and happy with it. Now I want to convert to full dc. Are there any plug and play parts available from other HH models which can be a direct swap rather than getting coil rewinded. If rewinding is the only option then also I am ready for it. But I need a full reliable setup. I am planning to plonk in the following for my lighting setup.

                              1. 3800 Lumen H4 LED Headlight Bulb Cyclops USA | eBay
                              2. Auxmart LED Bar Spot Beam 30w 4" LED Light Bar 12V 24V Offroad ATV UTV 4x4 4WD Camper Truck Trailer Boat LED Fog Lamp Van RZR-in Daytime Running Lights from Automobiles & Motorcycles on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group

I need to know whether the current battery of 7amp is sufficient for full night driving.
Is there any alterations I need to do

I request the seniors to pitch in and share their valuable inputs regarding the same.

                              Thanks in advance

Hey ppl, does any one know if the pulsar UG4's RR unit is available on shelves? is its part number DJ201202? and does it have 4 wires?
I asked a few shops here for the RR unit and they showed me a 6 wire rectifier with partnumber DJ201102. Can i use this to convert to full DC?
There was another RR unit starting with a JK- and this had 4 wires and 2 extra wires which the shopkeeper guy said were sensor wires.

Can i use any of the above rectifiers? The guy said these were original and were for a pulsar, but i'm suspecting that JK partnumber component is for Platina.
                                need help!
