Depends on the HID quality. Good HIDs do not heat up like halogens.

and how do i find out that..............i think i will be getting cheap chinese HID........

how much will a good HID cost and its source......where can i get it....

here in pune, i can source HID's like good one at 8000 rs a pair or chinese cheap ones at 3000-4000 rupees.....

i have added a switch which disconnects DC supply during starting.....later its ok....

I think that means, turn off the all DC setup until you start the bike later make it DC. Its fooling BCU, simple

Were u visualizing Drji is carrying a 120AH on a saddle bag?

I am not so sure. You will have to try it out and see. Mostly you should be ok.

Had been to Munnar last weekend powered with a H4 on headlight and H3 on pencil beam It was brilliant !!

Both 35w 4300k, but 4300k H3 looked a bit more blue, probably bcz of the size of reflector or is it bcz of type of bulb !! Picture attached.

It WAS fitted, not anymore . Just for the ride I had fixed it to mirror clamp.

Really impressed by this thread. I am looking to put a round headlamp for my 2004 Unicorn. Can someone tell me which is the best/biggest one I can get. I know this is kinda out of the topic. But looking at all the info here, I figured u guys might be able to help me out.

I have heard the Fiero FX ones are good. What ever you do, stay around from round Pulsar ones - they are terrible.

hey guy plz help me.. i got my apache rtr coil rewinded frm ruby electricals blr. thy gave me a custom made rr unit too but the rr unit thy gave blew off, around 3-4 rr unit blew off as thr rr unit is not made up of good components, i was usin stock rr unit for few days and dint had any prob oly 1 prob is it was of 35w, now i ve bot APE RR unit. i need few help frm ya guy regardin the connection of the ape rr unit..
