    Re: Engine Oils

    Till now i have used
    Yamalube 10w40 synthetic
    Yamalube 20w40 mineral
    Motul 7100 20w50
    Shell Advance ultra 10w40
    Next
    Motul 300v 15w50 .

Motul 7100 was the best oil so far for me with too much ripping, sane riding , highway riding , city riding and hill riding .. Works well in summer condition. But in winter My svc mechanic said it can create some starting issues. So will be going for 10w40 then ..

I will keep an eye on the oil level for sure while using this oil .
And my ride mostly includes highway, and I usually go to office in off shift timings - because of 24*7 shift job [emoji17] ,so rarely i stuck in traffic.

There's no way a calm engine of 150cc from Yamaha need this oil. The chances are it might leak out because it's such thin.

Stick to 5100 or 7100 and it's more than enough.

I understand that 300v is too much for a 150 cc machine.. And i have good faith in 7100 as i have used it many times ..
I just want to give it a try to see how it performs . that's the reason for ordering only 1 bottle .
Thanks for the suggestions mate ..

Its a good oil and can stay alive at 3.5 to 4k kms. After that vibration starts to kick in.

Great info. This is why we should read the product details.

About 5000 km or so. It's a full synthetic. You could push it to 7000 km but not the best idea
