    Re: Engine Oils

No, unless they find out it's not their oil.
Btw,my bike is showing leakage of oil probably. I saw some blackish oil near the rubber gasket as shown in the pic (I cleaned up the oil before the pic was taken, however the leakage is from here.,)
Anyone any clue, why would this happen on a new bike with Motul 5100 SS oil?

What about warranty ? Will it be void if we change to motul 5100 15w50 ?

Wll look up about Motul 5100. BTW 5100 20 W right?

And can you please confirm the service period for the street 220? The manual says 2nd service to be at 4500kms.
The workshop said it to be at around 2500-3000. Who is right?
    THanks in advance.
Motul 5100 is usually available in 15w50. Oil drain interval for this one should be max 3000-3500 kms.

For servicing go as per the KMs completed or time frame mentioned in the service book.

plz tell why ur advising to avoid shell....
Because shell ax7 and ultra have lesser draining period when compared to other brands even though they are semi and fully synthetic.for eg shell ax7 will have a good initial impression.but after 2k kms engine will get rough

The gears seem a bit clunky now.
I am still riding under 60 kms. Now, the problem is that I have a trip planned on 1st Feb 2017. It will be of around 1500 kms one side.
I dont think that this engine oil will cut it. Which one should I go for?

Semi Synthetic is best for low displacement bikes.
Fully Synthetic is mostly for high displacement bikes, like 300/500cc engines, and above.

Thanks bros. Have been using Motul 7100 in my 200 NS for years. The engine is harsh. So I thought I will use something else.
Bizol seems to be overpriced. Another one I had in mind was Elf Moto 4Tech.
