Go with Valvoline Premium or Motul 5100 in the grade recommended in your manual.

So which engine oil would be better for my bike Motul 7100 10W40 or 20W50 or any other grade??( Yamaha recommends 20W40 but the shopkeeper told me that fully synthetic 20W40 is not possible.)

    Additional info:
My bike has completed 9k kms and had cold starting problem with yamalube and castrol engine oil(20W40). The throttle remained unresponsive for the first kilometre or so, but now it has reduced a lot after shifting to elf 20W40.
Give a try to castrol power1 15w40...very smooth engine oil

Thanks ! Was just trying to assure myself since I have done this couple of times. Also, was worried since 5100 is single ester.
Will pave way for smooth transition to Motul 7100.
Anyone has an idea if Motul 7100 10w50 will cause any issues like leakage on Pulsar 150 ug4.5 ? Please shed some knowledge on this, else I shall be opting for 20w50 in Motul 7100 next.

My question here is can Fully synthetic oil be used for Scooty zest?

I feel like it's an overkill to that small engine...

    Can anyone please clarify.

    Thanks in advance

No problem. You can use 10W40 semi-synthetic oil.

    Cheers!

    Question regarding oil

    Hi

Has anyone used Castrol GTX Ultraclean (5W-30) for their 4-stroke motorcycles?
Just wanted to know if the oil is suitable for vehicles or meant only for cars.

    Thanks

Drain interval for all oils is the same as given in your bike's owner's manual . You may reduce that interval in kms or duration of use if bike is in service under severe conditions . But never extend the drain interval .
