Recomended oil grade for P150 is 20w40 . You can use any 4-stroke motorcycle engine oil in that grade . Motul , Gulf , Servo , Valvoline etc are good oils . If in doubt , get servo 4T 20w40 from a reliable IOCL(Indian Oil) petrol pump . My advice is to relpace your oil every 2000kms of use or 4-5 months , whichever occurs earlier for you . Drain your old oil hot .

My CBZ Xtreme is due for an oil change and I have decided to switch to another brand of fully synthetic though I never had any problems with shell Advanced fully synthetic. Went to Kaikkara Autos, Trivandrum and asked for motul but my required grade was not available at the shop and finally settled for Mobil 1 Racing 4t 10W40 fully synthetic for 800 bucks. I haven't changed the oil yet, so no comments on the performance front.If you worried about falling off the bike, you'd never get on.

No . Pulsar 150 of the earlier types use 20w40 ( and we buy this oil for my friend's 150 regularly ) . This pulsar run for 48k kms is most possibly of the earlier type too . For latest p150 gen it's 20w50 . Yes , Pulsar 135 uses 20w50 from begining . Dunno about the newer discover models yet . @ junaid12345678 - Its Imported? Try seeing the base of the can. It may be made by 'VIPUL' India? I had used the mineral grade of this oil and it was the same bottle but manufactured in India.

I have checked the bottom of the can but nothing was punched there except a recycle symbol and on the label its printed as manufactured by exonmobil.... USA and imported by exonmobil singapore. Guys , yesterday i filled my extreme with Mobil Super 4T mineral oil . I have done 4300km on hero oil so far . Any reviews or thoughts on how this mobil oil is ? The shop had Shell AX7 10W40 which i would shift to after some time considering engine is new .

Here is my review of Mobil Super 4t mineral oil -
Its equivalent to Yamalube 20w40. Looks very pure. Not like the ink containing castrol or gulf oils.

In my previous posts I have mentioned that I am using Rimula R3X in my Unicorn.
After 1000 kms usage I have opened dip stick to check oil level and quality. Oil was as good as new, no colour change at all and no drop in level.
Fine, but I am not convinced about this fresh colour. Earlier oil(Veedol super swift 10W40) will change colour within 500 kms.
Out of Curiosity and to clear my doubt, I took the bike to my regular mechanic and ask him to open clutch side case. While draining the oil, mechanic was also asking me the oil looking as good as new, why you are asking to drain?
He took out the oil strainer first and to my surprise the strainer was 70% covered with black precipitate though nothing at centrifugal filter.
I should have took photo but unfortunately I forgot to carry my phone.
In my previous oil filter cleanings(every 10K kms) I either found nothing or very very little amount of dust. This time clutch case opened after 6K kms.
Here is my doubt
Is this HDEO oils suitable only for bikes which are coming with replaceable oil filters like yamaha and TVS bikes?
I believe this oil is not allowing combustion dust not dissolving in it. That is why the oil looks so fresh even after some riding.
May be Shoeb can confirm this after opening his clutch case as his oil completed 2K + though he is on different brand of oil.
Experts your views please..
I switched back to Super swift till all the doubts cleared.
