The last time i got it was 795 MRP. It was from the Nov 08 batch. Some say the price now has slightly increased. U ll surely get it for a few bucks cheaper than the MRP,how cheap depends on where u get it

      • hey guys
i began to read this thread hoping that i would get a good view on what non-stock engine oils have for my unicorn, but i came out in between.
because not even a single post gave a sure answer as for which oil is better then the stock oil for any bike.
i mean what a crapping of web space.
Am not on a war with anyone , but is there any evidence that says that motul , petronas , veedol , valvoline etc. shows better results then stock engine oils in indian bikes having no more then 225 cc engine and most of them being carburettor feeded.
I mean those engine oil brands are for bikes with atleast atleast 300 cc engines and that too feeded with latest technology i.e. fuel injection.
I mean "Bandar(indian bikes) kya jaane adrak(heavy duty engine oils) ka swaad).
just said so because i was quite upset with the time i wasted while going through this thread.
The Automotive batteries are designed to work best in a typical short start-stop fashion.
So to increase the life of your automobile battery, blow the horn and flash the pass light in a quick start stop fashion instead of a conitnuous long horn blow or flash light continuous on!!
And obviously don't stretch the self start far too long.

Do us a favour and dont read this thread again for god's sake.Develop some basic knowledge first.U can waste more time on basic facts.

BTW Carb/Fi doesnt make any friggin difference to the engine oil.

          • ^^+1 and dude, what does c.c to do with ur engine oil man?? I mean, is ur unicorn's 150 cc engine saying no to a fully synthetic bottle of Motul 300 v??? If ur answer is yes, then u've seriously wasted ur time in reading all the posts over here!! And i would say that the entire site is only composed of small bikers and their experiences and if u think that this posts were of no use i doubt u'll face the same about the site...!

                i said no wars pleaze ! !
and i have read on many websites even on the websites of engine oil brands , semi-synthetic and fully synthetic engine oils were developed specifically for performance bikes in which an incredible power is developed leading to mmmmuch more heat and wear and tear.
sythetics gave better results on those big bikes and that too under extreme racing conditions.
even i was wandering how good it would be on our small engines so i had a sneak-peak over here .
But got no conclusion yaar thats it.
                1nce again no wars plz ! !
you can continue posting and will keep a watch till i conclude and even after that i will keep a watch

                • These oils do make a difference. Basically, the engine, gearshifts etc feels smoother, and the engine becomes more willing to rev. Try it out once and see!

(BTW, Castrol oils are generally not worth using.)
