I am looking for motul 300v FL 5W40 in mumbai have tried most of the dealers in mumbai but no success, does anyone have any idea from where i can get hold of this oil for my ride.

Better wait till your free services are over. And let bike clock few more thousand miles.

There's no need.3K is enough for switching.The run in is over.Seals have set in.This is the perfect time.Warranty does NOT get void if u are using semi synthetic as long as the grade of the oil is correct.They dont send the oil for testing or anything.

I dont know what bike you ride,but the difference in mineral and semi synthetic and fully synthetic is just too much.

Nice to have company . Been trying to get them myself in w40 without success so far. Will let you know if I strike lucky.

BTW I already got 300V FL 15w50. Got fed up, so I'll try them. Hell with manufacturer's recommended grade . However my current CP1R is still going strong, so have to wait some more before changing.

I don't think 5w40 & 10w40 in Motul is available in India. You can try Petronas Sprinta 5000 4t. But Motul is simply great!(as i have heard so)
I also tried for Mobil 1 for bikes, but it is not available in India. Only Petronas and Agip is available in the viscosity segment. Now using Petronas. It is good.

10w40 is available from couple of stores ( think I have to go with this), Enquired about the same and MRP is 895/- anyone getting it cheaper ? anyways I ill be using this in my 2006 thunderbird has anyone tried the same product in his thunderbird ?

I was trying the landline numbers for a week but no one was piking up the phone so in the end send them the Email, got a reply last night which says they only one can of both 5w 40 and 15w50 and they are leaving the distributorship.

its difficult to judge both because there are many riders happy with both brands
on reading one article i can say
motul 300v with out easter is from group4 based syn-oil
motul 300v with easter is from group5 based syn-oil
on other hand castrol is based on group3 based oils
and also castrols are easy to get but be cautions there might be duplicates as well
between whats your ride and grade i mean w40 r w50
