nope......kiran and shashi got it for me from pune.

tried to get it through pearl yamaha. siddarth promised he would get it for us.....but no response from him. But kiran and shashi planned a trip to pune suddenly....so he got it!

The studds helmet which raghu showed u is a really good helmet but the only discomfort is that it press's the ears!

Shashi had used it during the pune trip but he was very much satisfied with it!

u already seem to have been to these places..

hey guys , i have a sad tale to relate , i bought an agv (supposedly) lid from chopra auto in karol bagh for 2100 bucks.i admit, rather, i now lament, i did not do any research before , and now i m reading that i ve been given a chinese rip off.

the documentation that came with the damn thing list some forma sports pvt ltd as the manufacturer.

edit:- checked it out , there is an ISI mark on the side.

i was using a ninja studds before.given a choice between the two, what would you suggest.Continue with the studds or the mpa helmet...which one is safer of the two ??

FORMA is the company which makes AGV helmets under Indian license. Those AGV MPA helmets. came to know about it on this forum only. Can't compare as I had never used any helmet, but soon I'll be buying a Vega Boolean.

that lifts my spirits to an extent , but could someone already using the helmet comment on it?

@saurabh :the boolean is the one with the twin visors ?

do check the fitting of the boolean... they come only in 1 standard size....and after wearing it was touching my chin...after i complained, the dealer also tried it and found the same problem..

Yes, I had checked the size and std one was cramping my chin like hell and I couldn't even close the lid and that shop keeper(Helmet Paradise, Lal Bagh road bangalore) said that it was the only size. But at the shop just opposite to it(Balaji Helmet palace) I found large size which was perfectly fit. I didn't buy one that day but my friend bought std size from there, it was perfect fit for him. To cross check the prices I did call up the main office of Vega and found MRPs correct but I came to know that you can get much discount on those prices.

One of my two helmets, is Studds Ninja open face black color, i am thinking about spicing the look of this one by doing something on the same line what one of the member amar.p has done to his helmet, he has posted few pics of his helmet along with his multicolored P200, but i am unable to locate those pics. I wanna use those pics for reference.

Please help in locating those pics.

can any1 tell me a Shop to purchase these stickers and visor for this helmet in Gurgaon/South Delhi

i want good graphics n not those dumb ferrari stickers that look ugly , if they r reflective ones then its a bonus

I have my brother's AGV as well. Since almost 3 and a half years now.
It's one size larger for my head size (cause bro has a bigger head..)
But its still way more comfortable than a Vega Boolean. It also comes with licensed imported visors from AGV.(optional extras other than the std clear ones)
I don't use it much though, cause now after all this while and after quite a few washes the cheek pads have reduced in thickness, but only slightly. Bro has no issues with it. Buy one in your size and am sure you will be happy.

I have the Boolean as well. The quality is not as good as the AGV-MPA. But i'd say that the flip-up mechanism is better than that on the STUDDS Ninja lids (i.e. in my opinion, don't mean to start a war of words).
Also even though the Boolean fits me just perfcetly it lacks good skull padding with regards to comfort levels. My head starts to ache after just an hour of use due to the exposed impact absorbing foam. It needs to have a little more sponge or some sort of soft padding.

Other than the above mentioned I don't have any other issues with the two lids.
