Try Ajit Motors near Ashok Stambh (opposite Circle Cinema). He stocks all kinds of Vega Helmets. Even if he doesn't stock LS2/Cross, he can order one for you from Mumbai if you give him a confirmed order. The better option though is to pick one up if you happen to visit Mumbai / Pune in the near future.Originally posted by pranavjadhao View PostAdvice is a form of nostalgia.

Go to the shop, the guys there will guide you. But make sure the helmet fits properly before you make any payment. A good fitting helmet shouldn't move around over your head. Your hair and cheeks should move alongwith the helmet.Originally posted by pranavjadhao View PostSorry for the back to back posts, will keep this in mind...
And thanx for the info but what should i do to order a correct size..?? I mean there might b slight difference in sizing of different brands i guess?
Opt for LS2 FF358 Helmet instead of LS2 FF350 if you feel that the fit is not perfect. FF358 gives you manual adjustment by pumping up the cheek-pads.Advice is a form of nostalgia.

-> Love the shape & style of the helmet over my previous LS2 Crown.
-> Very less/minimal whistling sound as compared to the LS2.
-> Genuine DOT certification.
-> My new found love for a "Matte Black" helmet
-> Finish is excellent.
-> Pretty sung fit and very comfortable for spectacles too.
-> Double D-Ring lock mechanism.
Thats a nice lid Inder Ji ... Congratulations

Every brand out there eitjer has snug, or loose fit for a given size, even the best helmets out there might not necessarily suit one's head. The best way to get over this is to try them personally or measure your head's circumference and ordering them accordingly if you're purchasing them at from an online retailer.Originally posted by pranavjadhao View PostSorry for the back to back posts, will keep this in mind...

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

You can get good quality helmets like LS2, Studds Scorpio/Rhyno, Cross etc at a very good price points. Perhaps, if you go back this thread for Mumbai dealers of LS2 and other helmets, you'd get all the info you need.Originally posted by 'nYsus' View Postcan anyone suggest me a good helmet in the price range of 3-4000/-?? i have been thinking over getting an ls2, but i thought it would be better if i got you guys' opinion.

So what would be the range of the SOL?? And is there much difference in matters of comfort and quality than the ls2??"When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return." ~ Leonardo da Vinci

Price range for SOL helmets start from Rs 3,800/- to Rs 5,200 or thereabouts. When you get a chance check out their website,
photos and details of SOL helmets start on page 2 under 'Helmets'. I don't know much about LS2, members around here who
use them have good things to say about it too. Anyway don't take my word for it, try both of them and see which one you like
better.sigpic
