Hi Guys,

I am about to book yamaha r15 next month (colour would be black -grey model). I want a helmet to go with it.
I have shortlisted LS2 Phobia. Just wanted to know where in Thane/Mumbai can I buy an authentic model since I can see a lot of fake ones too being sold in the market.

EDIT: Can someone also please let me know how to switch between clear and tinted visors?? (Noob alert! )

I would like to thank everyone in XBhp for educating me more about Safety equipments. When I went through my first tour I had used my old Vega helmet. The sad thing is that even though I am an engineer and mostly know about safety equipments but did not care for personal safety until I joined XBhp. Now I am learning and applying safe riding practices. Hence changed my helmet to LS2 FF350. Thanks to B7ackthorn for providing the address to M/S Scooter Spares (Madras) in this thread. It cost me Rs. 2500. Just some snaps.

I know of a shop ''Only Helmets'' near Santoshi Mata Mandir'(got the info of this shop from thread). Is that a good place to get an LS2 (prices, trustworthiness,etc.)?? Which shops do you know about??

Check for the prices there + look i they are Original + New batch !
I heard old batch are a bit heavy.

And the main thing. Check for the design you like / want.

Sure I will do the review. Planning for some short trip (100kms). But I was extremely surprised to feel the difference. The front vents are super cool they keep the inside of the helmet cool. And I am not able to hear any whistling sound, used to hear them all the time in my Vega. I feel the helmet is little heavy when compared to my Vega. Anyway I love the graphics of the helmet. Usually I am not a guy who likes to showoff with his stuff. But this helmet is an eye catcher. More reviews later.

Sure I will do the review. Planning for some short trip (100kms). But I was extremely surprised to feel the difference. The front vents are super cool they keep the inside of the helmet cool. And I am not able to hear any whistling sound, used to hear them all the time in my Vega. I feel the helmet is little heavy when compared to my Vega. Anyway I love the graphics of the helmet. Perhaps you can look over to AIROH if you're spending 10K, these are genuine Italian helmets. Home - BIKES I RIDING GEAR I PERFORMANCE ACCESSORIES I SPARES check out this website for more info.

AGV there are quite a few dealers but you can contact Retrorides MOTO and call their 9971395678, because they don't reply for prices on the FB, page, the best would be call them directly, hoping that they pick the phone. 90% they do, but some times, they just don't.

Call them directly for prices and models etc.

You can buy LS2, SOL & Cross helmets from M/s Scooter spares (Madras), No:124, General Patters road, Anna salai, triplicane, Chennai. Ph - 044-28600235


The price for LS2 & Cross starts from Rs. 2500 and SOL Rs. 4500 (I think so).

He was quoting 3k for it and said additional 550rs for a clear visor.

My biggest dilemma is how to spot out a fake one from a real one. LS2 models priced same but one looking better in quality than the other...

At A.H. Helmet !
I got the phobia for 2800rs.
Clear visor was for 3.1k.
And that he said Dollar price is high, which was not. But I had to buy because of dust on Mumbai roads.

Anyone from EKM, TVM, KTM in Kerala who knows from where I can buy a legitimate LS2, Cross or any such reputed lids? I saw this website, bikegear.in had them on stock, but I would like to try the fit if possible, before buying it. I hope someone responds.
