I use an under-helmet cap which came free with my Vega Helmet on days when I have to get a haircut (which is not very often ). That can also be used to save helmet from sweat.

Looks somewhat like a beanie, have a look:

Can we get this "under-helmet cap" from any normal helmet store (one near to my place). Does LS2 come with an under-helmet cap? Can you guys name some not-so-expensive helmets which come with under-helmet cap.

Finally i got SOL 68s-II Metal Man white/silver Helmet.Early morning @ 6:30AM i received SMS from hemant chheda sir(AH Helmet) that "SOL Helmet are available".I was surprised to see the SMS that too early morning.I rushed to AH Helmet ASAP.There were only 2 "L" size Helmet both 68s-II, one gloss black and second one which i bought white/silver.I was planing for unicorn-II-68s blue/silver but it was not available.unicorn 68s red/silver and yellow/silver available size XL and M respectively.Metal Man graphics looks deadly.Changed my mind from the Unicorn to the Metal Man at the last moment "kuch paane k liye kuch khona padta hai"...Finally my Hunt for helmet is over and i am satisfied with Metal Man.

So far my views:
neat and clean finish.
cool and stylish graphics.
sturdy shell.
lots of vents.
DOT certified.So no doubts on the quality.
d-ring/clip new stuff for me so little bit difficult to close but will soon get habituated to it.

Congrats buddy.Isnt the helmet Simply Beautiful .. I keep looking at it all the time.. Im taking more care of it than the bike itself.
The D-ring clip is supercool, I can now lock and unlock it pretty quickly and it fits very perfectly. Even I changed from unicorn to Metal Man at the last moment. Cant help it, the graphics are super Awesome.

Yes bro it is very beautiful no words to describe.I think i made best decision. while travelling back to Panvel from andheri i was holding the helmet like it is my baby..

D-ring is pretty cool stuff i mean it is so comfortable compared to quick release lock...I am not sure that we are the only ones with Metal Man. the worker @ helmet shop said they sold 3 metal man yesterday don't know that he was telling truth or just fek raha tha...

Saw a LS2 airpump model at college parking today where the guy did ISI marking beside the ECE sticker. The ISI wasn't a sticker, but rather a painted thing. The ECE sticker was stuck on the back and ISI was done on the right side. Can anyone tell where can we get this done. Can we paint it in the shops which paints mugs and cups? Attaching the pic.

Besides how good would be a standard LS2 or vega? Which one would be a better buy? Babloo Motors here in Vashi are quoting upwards of Rs 3000 for an LS2.

The prices on the website are the prices in Chennai, which has no VAT for helmets. The prices in other states would be + taxes (VAT) + levies (Octroi if applicable). So the rates would vary slightly from state to state depending on the tax structure. It's the same way with our bikes too.

SOL Helmets are available only through authorized resellers. The list of resellers is listed in the Contact page of the SOL India website - Contact Us - SOL Helmet India .

The only other way to get a SOL Helmet is to buy online directly from SOL India - but this would work out slightly more expensive as the courier charges would be added.

I bought the helmet for 5150 Rs. that's 4550+ 600 tax...if u wan't to buy it online, price of the helmet + Rs.750 courier charges + possible+5% Octroi extra.U will save 150+ 5%(228 Rs.) octroi when u buy it from AH Helmet...

SOL is Only available @ AH Helmet, 1st and only authorized re seller in Mumbai...plus u'll not get duplicate anywhere because SOL is new in India..And Ls2 no idea man!!!...AH Helmet has stock at present of SOL,Ls2,Cross and some other local brand...not much difference in Ls2 cost between AH Helmet and babloo motors u can go at AH Helmet and compare the helmets all at once no need to go anywhere else...Babloo motors has very less stock of ls2 and they only keep ls2,vega and only one kbc helmet lol...
if u can extend your budget best buy is SOL Helmet...

I spoke with them and Rs 5100 is what he has quoted. Am going to visit them today evening. Can't take my duke as the registration formalities are not done yet. Can only ride in Navi Mumbai. I hope XL fits me man.Might have to look at other colours though in case it doesn't. But I so want the orange to compliment my bike Though wearing it to office might be a bit outrageous now that I think of it

Sometime back LS2 had imported few shipments of LS2 helmets and put their seal and sold them through their distribution network. All the LS2 sold in India have the same origin, Chinese factories; and all of them are fake.

Try the Acme model as well. Though it doesnt look very attractive on the website, it looks superb in flesh.
