Got my new Lid SOL SF-1(Acme Red). Here are some pics...

I am sooo jealous of you. I was damn confused between MetalMan, Acme red and Unicorn. I purchased Metal Man Red. But everytime I see other SOL helmets I fall in love with them. I want all the Models. Acc. to me Acme red has the best LEDs(a glowing strip) and Metal Man has the best graphics. I wished there was a combination of them

Dude, If I'm not mistaken, all the LED modules on SOL lids are the same!...it's just the placement that's slightly different. One range has them integrated with the rear air vents while the other doesn't

PRS has AGV and Arai, but limited variety so it's best to call n ask them. the AGVs are well above 10k

helmet with indicator,now thats innovative,was just wondering about the helmets with led lights inbuilt,are they properly insulated,even a freak case of a loose wire that too on your head,won't it prove to be fatal?

I completely agree, it will be an ironical case of the lid killing the rider than protecting him. That's why LS2 lids don't have em, no?

lol:d no at all, vineet. The led lights in the helmet doesn't kill or prove to be fatal as you say. There isn't a garbled mess of wires running criss-cross along the helmet, it's all well placed in a small plastic compartment along with battery case. I mean it runs on aaa batteries i guess, which isn't even good enough to tickle you with all it's power running through your body. I mean literally. :d

need not worry about electrocution while riding. :d

The following Helmet is what I was searching for before purchasing a SOL. I had seen their concept long back around 7-8 years back. I really wonder why wasn't this concept used by other manufacturers. Its really is a very useful and a great feature. "Rear View Mirror".

The SF-1 models have LEDs covered with a plastic piece which glows as seen in Chicane1879's pics. and in SL-68S, the 6 LEDs can be directly seen. Both are marvelous and I like both of them alot. Its just that if given a choice I would give slight more preference to the SF-1 LEDs

Yup how much for this. Looks like I got a worthy upgrade from my LS2 Phobia. Looks good like just any other LS2 and expect a VFM price tag.

A small pump is provided which pumps in air so that helmet fits in more. If someone has a small head & even after opting the smallest size, the helmet is coming loose, he can pump in air to make it fit rather than stay loose. Comes in some of the helmet including Daijya.

I know autoqueen i bougt my SOL SL-68-SII Metal Man Grey/Silver from there but when i asked him about other helmet he said he dont know and told me that he was not available there .
