Vicky has been in this business for close to a decade now, all his products are of genuine and sold with warranty. Though a bit on the costlier side, he's very good to deal with. I'd say go for it.

You have lots of desi brands in around 5k and less. Try going for Studds, SOL or LS2 Helmets which are pure VFM money products. All these have their respective websites, so you can choose which helmet you want to based upon your need.

Studds in and around <4k
SOL 5~k
LS2 right from 2k all the way up to 8k

For more info regarding all these helmets, you have lots of reviews and where to source them from, go back page by page to get your queries answered.

I already have a Studds Ninja and Gliders MC1 so, kinda thinking of upgrading as I have upgraded my ride to CBR 150 and thinking of goin on long distance rides..
One more thing I want an Helmet with ISI mark as sometimes cops create
ruckus for the ISI mark

I'd suggest you get in touch with Performance Racing Store - Mumbai. AFAIK they are the only authorised dealer of KBC/Sparx in India. They will be able to guide you to their sub-dealers too. Beware imitations and fakes of both brands of which there are many.

Nice lids man..and the quality looks to be great. If the Carbon Firbe one was priced a shade under 10k, I would have been REEAALLLYY tempted! A price of abt 9,500 will set the cat among the pigeons!
Anyways, where can I see it in Bombay? Would SM Studios have it?

I already have a Studds Ninja and Gliders MC1 so, kinda thinking of upgrading as I have upgraded my ride to CBR 150 and thinking of goin on long distance rides..

There are lots of ISI helmets out there from companies like Studds, Vega, MPA, etcetera. Try searching in your local area for an authorized dealer and you may get even better helmets under your budget.

these lids retail for almost 300 euros in Europe,which works out to more than 20,000rs
10,500 is the introductory price here in India and it will be available all over India post july end/early august.

The finish of the stickers is sad.
Looks cheap aftermarket stuff.
Some dude (xbhpian?) bought one at 9.5k at the add I mentioned.
He was prolly into serious biking, not caring a damn about the quality of graphix.

I saw a couple of ls2 stickers stuck onto a studds helmet outside the shop,hanging from the board. And then this guy inside was using a screwdriver to tuck in the rubber lining on a ls2 diamond (replica?).
That made walk out of that place without a helmet.

Tried the shop opp. Helmet paradise. Called the Megha enterprises.
The place is clean and had good variety (read every damn variety).. They bargain too..

Another place i found genuine was the store opp. the Vespa showroom, in the basement.

Clean tidy shop. Run by a marwari family. The lady there cribbed alot about stiff competition. Her son will try to talk you into buy a helmet. Bloody cheesy guy. Be smart when bargaining.

There was an Chennai/Coimbatore XBhp ride a couple of months back where the group reached the destination at night in the dark and the riders, many of whom had SOL helmets with LEDS used them very effectively to keep the group together. At other times, the lead riders used the flashing function to guide the others. Entering a strange town in the pitch dark was made easier with the lights. With my aging eyes and poor night-vision I remember being guided by younger riders who led the way for me. Also I remember our lead, SriramEfunds actually pulling over the entire group on a pitch dark roadside simply by placing his flashing Acme Red SF1 ( the very same helmet that Chicane now has) on his rear seat! Actually B7ACKTHORN, you were on that ride too if I remember correctly, weren't you?

Exactly. The flasher function makes you stand out of the crowd and would come in handy when riding in group through a crowded street/highway!!

don't get angry, its a good helmet but light in helmet is a bit too much, isn't it... something like light in shoes ( for childrens).

All i can do is "LOL"!!

On highways, it is a safety feature. So nothing fancy like light in shoes
Also, when you can have safety with good aesthetics nothing wrong taking it.

Helmets with indicators may be you tickled a brainstorm somewhere

Congrats bro...whats the price of the model. I like it specially because it the first full face helmet after Daijya which has has internal visor (thast why I am interested). Where in India are they available apart from Mumbai.

It costed me 6370(with a spare visor). Got it from Bangalore with the help of xbhpian Praful sending it with one of his friends who was on his way to BBSR.

The helmet snugly fits in. Have the XL variant. Wind Noise is minimal, inside the helmet the exhaust/intake roar of the bike sounds 'bassy' which is a good thing as it heightens the fun factor.

@Chicane : badiya hai I actually love the LEDs of SOL

I am sooo jealous of you. I was damn confused between MetalMan, Acme red and Unicorn. I purchased Metal Man Red. But everytime I see other SOL helmets I fall in love with them. I want all the Models. Acc. to me Acme red has the best LEDs(a glowing strip) and Metal Man has the best graphics. I wished there was a combination of them

Yes the Metal man has the best graphics of em all. Was interested in 68-S at first but didnt get the desired colour combo
