      • Used to lock my old helmet to bike. It cost me only 1.5k. But with my new helmet I'm a bit concerned and take it with me every time. Again at home I take it and place it inside my bedroom.

That's exactly what I do. Can't risk leaving it anywhere. I even take it to class

                    nope, not good.
get a proper full face helmet with snug fit for better protection. With this "motorcross" helmet chances are you might get hurt when the front portion which is very weak snaps on impact., very small impact that is.

                    Cheers

Well, some guys who came to our place for stunt show wore Vega 'motocross' helmets. One of those guys lost control while doing a stoppie and fell face first. I am very sorry for him and his family, but he is dead now. An ambulance was at the spot and he was taken immediately to a hospital. People who went with him to the hospital said that he had snapped his vocal chord and even if he lived he would never have been able to talk.

That had something to do with the handle bar hitting his throat or neck area or so. Atleast that is the info i got from reliable sources.May his soul rest in peace.
Nonetheless, let's leave that there, the motocross styled one's are no good, and just add on to the looks. And that's about it.

                        Cheers

Fake ones ofcourse. You see, the helmets being sold for 300rs roadside are also having the ISI markings. So really, the markings are not something which alone can certify for the quality, as it can be faked.
Instead , buy from the reliable sources and authorized dealers, so you can live in peace.

                              Cheers
