Bro, tell you what, FIR, Police, complaint, bribe, visit to police station, petrol expense, frustration sigh! it will all tally to the cost of a good LS2 helmet or even more. Forget it sir ji. Get a new one. And from here on, make sure you carry it along with you or use a cable lock to lock (don't use helmet lock, it's very easy to remove along with the lock = more damages) the helmet in bike if you happen to be out for a long time.

    Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

No, not cheap cable locks or cycle locks. There are very good locks like TYSON and other brands out there, those are real hard to break and the locking mechanism is fail proof rather than keys. But for thieves it's just a matter of time.

Yep, helmet bags are very useful, spend some 2k on them and it's always dangling about one's arse! Can be too flimsy to use about daily, but if it's just office to home, and vice versa, that'd be a nice proposition to work out with.

        Cheers!

We have a friend at my place whom we call if we lose a key or forget combination for a number lock. He can open all those combination locks and others very easily. His room mates do not keep the keys with them and lets him keep the keys.

never heard of the brand TYSON, where is it available..?? helmet bags rarely works,..... and home to office and back is never a worry as helmet is kept safely at my desk in office. the problem happens when you have to attend some function and you go well dressed, at that time you simply can not carry your helmet with you.

TYSON was a local brand made in US, super kick ass locks, they don't have a website, and most people don't even know it. Unfortunately it was lost when we were shifting our house.

Why don't you just extend a thousand bucks more and get yourself a good certified one as opposed to cheap ones. You have Studds Ninja, Studds RHYNO, Studds Scorpion, Cross etc in your price point.

                    Cheers!

SOL,Daija, TIH, KBC,Sparx are a few options. If possible try it out directly in person rather than online shopping. it must be snug fit.

Basically both are the same. But ls2 is lighter and more preffered. So make a choice.

                              • I enquired with AH Helments in Mumbai for SOL SL68s II for which he quoted the price as 5,200 INR while the Website: http://spartanprogear.com/ shows the prices to be 4,575 INR. This is a vast difference and when I further enquired, the guy said it's because state wise Tax and Cess changes but even if that is the case I don't think that this much difference should be there.
