Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

I think warranty is important cos if you get a bad helmet or a wrong piece, you can go and ask them for an exchange and only genuine products comes with warranty, . . @B7ACKTHORN thank you, will try to post those and I really didn't like wearing an off-road helmet, it really looks stupid, I have so many friends who own R15 and almost everyone uses off-road helmet and they say it's comfortable, they see comfort more than safety , can't argue with them na. . .

yup well said and BTW this one's good I took around 3k to buy the helmet but when I went there I checked all and thought of taking the LS2 itself but it was kinda heavy I felt, so checked out at another shop and there he had this, Vega Axor and Cava Dual Visor, he was the only person having it, so checked it all, from the padding, ventilation and other things, etc., felt it's worth so just took it, and compared to my previous local helmet which I was using like all other idiots out there, this is far far better in all aspects, . .

                    Cheers!!!

Thank you bro, Vega Axor and Cava dual visors are new to the market as almost many don't know about this and if you have a budget around 2k, I think it's best buying it everything is good the ventilators, pads, comfort and also not to forget it's a bit light weight, . .

On the helmet or the visor? In either case, ask for a replacement if it has *SOME* warranty/gurantee period for the helmet or replace the visor if the ratchet teeths have chipped off. Usually it's quite hard to convince the helmet seller for a replacment of the visor if the damage is induced by the user, but you can always try.

                        Cheers!

The helmet ones. I called laxmi automobiles and they had the replacement at 250 bucks, now just need to go there and get it fixed. Since it didn't come off on its own (had an accident) it wouldn't be considered in the warranty I think.

ok, you just had the luxury of being a Pune-ite ........... you may put up a pic of before & after the replacement if at all possible in your zone of comfort .......... BTW, how did you manage to damage both the sides at a time

Well it was my first crash on my 3month old duke. Some idiot started running across the highway all of a sudden and I banged into him. No major injuries. The funny part was that I never had any impact on my head so don't exactly know how the visor came off. After searching for a while I found the visor inside the frame of my bike just near the rear monoshock . The mounting on one side had come off at the spot while the other side got bent badly a little while later due due the visor hanging off it. Will post the pics in the morning.

Accidents all come under misuse or personal misuse, so that's out of question. 250 bucks not that bad for a replacement visor, but that's real cheap for an LS2 visor.

Quite a convincing mishap indeed. I guess visor popping off JLT has to do with improper installation. But anyway you're safe it's all that matters.

                                Cheers!
