Re: Helmets
There are lots of stores in US. But make sure you try the helmet before you zero in on one. ARAI SHOEI KBC HJC JOE ROCKET etc etc just to name a few are all good helmets. And you won't be charged any duty for helmets as such, just open the package and tell them it's used and most stuffs are brought that way. If an item is used it is freed from duty as opposed to a new one.Originally posted by RahulAk View PostGuys im new to this forum so please bare with me.
Id be travelling to US next month, can anyone suggest me a good online store where i could preorder a helmet. Also would i be charged custom duty when i get it to India?
thanks in advance
Cheers!

LS2 Phobia is what you may afford well in your budget. Please call and ask from Laxmi Automobiles - Authorised Distributors for LS2 Products in India if they supply to anyone in Gujarat. They are the only authorized supplier of LS2 helmets in India.Originally posted by skv View PostHi friends. I am in surat and need to buy a helmet. Re: Helmets
You can also look for Cross helmets, and they are available in most of the places. They are certified and serve the purpose really well. Apart from that, as pranav pointed out, you can look out for LS2, Studds etc.Originally posted by skv View PostHi friends. I am in surat and need to buy a helmet. Re: Helmets
Received my Sol Wizard yesterday from Spartan pro gear. The helmet is in good condition expect that the top of the helmet which houses the air vents and the LED's is not fastened and moves up and down freely... which just does not seem right. Is the helmet supposed to be like that? On the non LED helmets like the Metal Man there is a screw on the back which holds the top but could not find anything like that on the Wizard. A the led cover is not fit properly and looks a little off.
Any help from owners and people of knowledge will be appreciated.

Perhaps you should send pictures of your helmet to the HelpDesk - [email protected] and actually ask the company. You're located in Jammu, right? Did you get the box in proper condition?Originally posted by PzZulqar View PostReceived my Sol Wizard yesterday from Spartan pro gear. Hi,
I wanted to clear if the helmet is supposed to be like that or not before contacting the Help desk. However, i have done that now and send the pics to Satish. On very careful observation one can see the indentations on the back of the helmet above the LED cover.
BTW, I am in Srinagar not Jammu. The box was not in the best of the conditions.Last edited by PzZulqar; 08-18-2013, 09:32 PM.
