    Hi,

My head size is really large. I tried out every helmet. But, nothing fit me. Only one helmet was fitting me. So, I bought that one- Steelbird Bieffe SB-18. Plain Black.
    Size- Large 60, Gr.1450.
Now, I want to switch to an LS2, SOL or Sparx. But, no such helmets available in ghy. So, can u tell me the sizes in these brands which would correspond to my head size. My current helmet-

Pls tell me the sizes corresponding to my head size in LS2, SOL, SparX, THH, etc as I'll be buying online..

hey there...what I get from your post is that your size is 60 or 600...mine is somewhere in between 610 & 620 ...
when I didn't had any knowledge/info about helmets I used to wear a 580-590 ninja from studds...pretty bad experience...
then I tried outside well known brands (among unaware ignorant percentage of Indians)...and I found out a sea of sizes/models/brands...
till now used ls2 & sol ...try xl for size 600-620 (60-62) in both of them... or go for better costlier brands and you might get perfect match without compromising on padding.

In that price bracket, consider SOL & Sparx and you will not regret. And how is it that GHY doesn't have stores selling LS2 while Dibrugarh (D.A.R.U.) guys are flashing all around with funky LS2s.

And for most brands, paddings are inter-changeable between the closest sizes but since you do not have the liberty to get that done and try, I would suggest you to refer to the size chart of SPG on the same. Apparently XL looks really big and it is recommended to go for a snug fit, so contact them and clarify on this and go for the SOL.

And for other brands, I guess its better to forget getting here in guwahati!

Once fcuked forever fcucked, I always say. But scratches that appear in the peripheral vision area of the visor must be considered for a replacement especially if it's deep. Never use any solvents or wax to cover up a scratch. Mind you this is not a metal or wood work where you can add wax, polish wipe and it shines dry, and considering the fact that it's not even glass it's a polycarbonate material plastic, so any solvents are going to affect the visor negatively and can literally melt and render the visor useless.

Never use wax, solvents as such. The best is use water for the time being to clean the visor with a soft lint free cloth if vision is hampered. And scratches are the prime reason for glare and light scattering at night which is far worse and I've been through that. Plus dogging on the primary vision with scratched visor will only tire your eyes, I can go on. But..

Consider replacing your visor and you'll eyes will thank you for that.

                    Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Shops of AT Road only stocks the local motocross styled helmets at max.
You can check those in Ganeshguri and near Bharalu end of AT Road where few bike modification shops are present. Some may stock LS2 but the price would be exorbitant. Better check the shop in front of China Town. Had been once to get a quote (timepass, to see how much they are charging!) and its pretty same as in Bangalore.

I ride under Assam Bikers, will PM the link.

Killer Lid, mate! I have been having wet dreams of owning Demonatrix for quite some time now, if you know what I mean!!

BTW what is the weight mentioned? I found it a bit heavier than HJC in one of the stores here in Bangalore.
