Hi Guys,
After going through this thread, I decided to get myself atleast an LS2 to replace my old Vega. So here it is, the LS2 Cyber Warrior.








The shopkeeper told me that the shell size of LS2 helmets is same, its just the inner padding that comes in different sizes. I thought M size padding would be perfect for me, but all the M size paddings he had did not fit into my helmet as the clip on buttons were misaligned. So I went with the L size padding, which was stock with the helmet, and was advised to wear a balaclava/bandana underneath the helmet, which I usually do, and it fits fine. Not too tight, not too loose.

So what I want to ask is, just out of curiosity, has anyone fitted M size padding on their LS2 helmet?

Guys please help my best friend, he is going to upgrade his lid . He was using vega moto cross helmets for couple of years ...he is looking for SOL helmets and the model interested is hornet . The actual problem is one my friend told us that the padding of SOL is not value for money ...also recommended SPARX hornet .Please tell us which one is better ....

Sparx is a good choice to reckon with. SOL on the other hand is not the best out there, but fits the bill perfectly for those on budget yet affordable, funky, approved helmets. Sparx genuine ones are retailed by PRS and cost a bit more, but you can be guaranteed they are genuine products, rather than knock offs sold at a catchy price point.

Mahn im lovong this lid, i was searching for exactly this color and with the same visor.

Buddy, I appreciate the enthu, but posting the whole picture message just for a four word answer -- you absolutely have no clue how much difficult it is to read from a phone. Please tag just the message or just one pic if you really love to tag a pic. Next time, please don't tag the entire photoset.

KBC, HJC & Scorpion are just as good as each other, a lotta bang for the buck helmets.
Mukesh & Stuart stock KBC in bombay, slightly more expensive than maybe what you would pay for your helmet inclusive shipping but then you can try it on before paying up.

While at KBC, lookup the gun shot / gun slinger helmet in the VR 2 series, and the ex 400 dog fight helmet in Scorpion, just love those graphics!!

What about LS2?
Are they really good if budget is concerned?
I mean they have got nice features like HPTT shell.
Really worried because I am going to buy my first helmet, and I don't want to compromise with safety.

Folks,
I am closing on glossy black SOL SF 1 . But now Sol has come up with SF 1 wih graphics ( called Sf 1 Acme ) which costs extra 600 bux.

The query is , should i go for glossy black or graphics ?

Graphics, decal or design is purely a matter of personal choice. If you feel like you have a choice to make another choice for the enlisted colors then choose the one you like. I mean, it's like persuading someone to purchase an underwear for the color which I'd like. I mean it's his ass that's ultimately in the line. Forgive me but I had myself cracked up pretty much

But ultimately the decision is yours.

Reminds me of a weird conversation between me and dad a few years ago when someone from my native (as per customs) after a marriage handed me a set of clothes as a gift. It included a shirt, a jean and under garments. Sadly, the chaddi was vermilion red and I refused to ever wear it. My dad then said, who'd see it anyway? Red or white, all it does is hide your ass!

As it turns out the SF1 Acme costs 6.9k. Now , HJC starts with 7.5k. which one's a better bet?
Im more inclined towards the Acme , its difficult to get eyes off it.
