  • Re: Helmets

It would be best if xBhp moderators just divide posts under a thread or thread under thread(like a hierarchy) . eg: under helmets section divide it like 1-5k , 5-10k, exotic/imports. Would be lot easier for newbies and helpers too.

Bro we agree u r a senior member...but u don't need to show in each and every post...we can see that below your avatar.

As a newbie it will be difficult to get used to the web layout....but if u find find it annoying better to ignore to in my opinion. But I have seen many senior members repeatly answering same question again and again in the helping tendency.

Sorry, couldn't stop posting this after seeing ur similar senior kind of post in many threads.

            Hello,
@prateek2210 : sir, I have never exhibited my arrogance in any of my posts. i have been using only formal language and that seems to be troubling you. I feel bad to see you blatantly show out your arrogance in your messages with phrases like 'banging your head' and making sarcastic statement on someone who is just here to learn. I think you have mistaken/ misunderstood/ misinterpreted/ manipulated whatever I have said. I have always mentioned that its my personal preference and I have always mentioned that I am here to learn and consider your inputs as I grow. Also never have I indulged in contradicting your statements, sir. I have been saying I will only upgrade for better and whatever I am using serves the purpose and has a decent quality too. I have never gone bad against any of the senior or junior or members who are as old as me, here.

I have always been only replying to your messages with all due respect, sir. Sometimes I only repeat what I said because you seem to reply the opposite to my posts. There is no justification, its just a small repetition making things clear to avoid any manipulation.

@all who think I was arrogant and disrespecting : I request you to find ill phrases or derogatory terms in my messages and then say this. I have always and will always respect everyone equally. I have never used bold or capital letters to mock someone or hurt others feelings. Did you people notice that my messages were mocked by a few senior members who lost their patience and chose not to ignore my messages atleast? Still, I could empathize with them and maintained my decency here which was constantly misinterpreted as an ill attitude. So tell me talking of brotherhood and discipline and treating everyone as xbhpians, did anyone even point out the fact that I was being mocked at that was something similar to hurting others feelings as per the forum ettiquettes? speak not if you cant understand my simple formal way of representing my ideas politely.
@dineshaugustin : Sir, after all these I think there is no use in repeating whatever I have been saying all this while in my posts. Also, its a very common human tendency to not feel objected or contradicted, sir. Also I felt that your way of telling him is a bit rude and we have to respect his ego as an individual and also his seniority/ experience, sir. Please do not take this in a wrong way and I mean no enmity to you or anyone else in this forum
@sunilg: Sir, before you clean up the thread as a moderator you would be disheartened to see all these and I request you to just consider whatever I have been telling and also realize that I have been taking responses that are unnecessary. Seeing sarcastic and mocking replies only makes me lose faith in these forums and I hope other beginners do not get addressed like this. I feel that you should insist on members using private messages to share mockeries and sarcastic messages. After all I posted a pic of my helmet and said what happened at the shop and why I liked my helmet, sir. Hope this forum is still democratic to express an individual's view irrespective of the experience or knowledge and I once again hope to learn a lot from these people and their good aspects.

            Thanks.

Well, differences of opinion are bound to come up in a public forum since each individual has his own view/logic. But, rather than posting it in that thread itself one can definitely PM the other person and sort things out amicably. These conversations really take us nowhere and hijacks the essence of that thread.

                Hope this eases things!

If u can spend 3000+ bucks , mt is a very good option. Less than 2000 studds if not Ryder . This is my opinion. But whatever brands may be always full face helmet and not open face / motorcross.

This is an issue I've been having for a few months now, during long rides I get this sharp pain in my shoulders and neck(spine) if I wear my helmet for extended periods of time. I get instant relief when I take of the helmet but the pain starts again in 10-15 mins of getting back on the bike and wearing the helmet. Any solution to this issue, I use a SOL S68s2 helmet which is a tab bit heavy (1.6kgs). Is there any solution to this? Any lighter helmets out there?
I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

The only solution is to go out to a store and try out which one u feels lighter and comfortable. There are many available with various weights .

one more thing always try and buy helmet which u feel comfortable.always buy full face helmet. I have seen many re owners wearing open face helmet to get classic look .
All the best for the new bike.
