But according to dealers people don't demand spares so they don't keep them. Paddings of my MT are torn and loose now. They started giving way in six months time but now condition is really bad and I m suffering from wind noise which is causing headaches. :banghead:
    Which mt model?

The Sun Visor on the Shifter is not a Pop-Out type but is an Internal type.

      1. It's a boon to ride with the Internal Sun visor down in the Sun and in the dark retract it back.

      2. Unlike other helmets the internal Sun Visor/Face Shield is not operated by some lever mechanism.. it's a simple open and shut action.. and will not come loose with time.

      3. The optical quality of the Visors are distortion free

I find the weight of the Studds Shifter to be ok.. not too heavy and not too light. Only negative about the Studds Shifter is that it becomes noisy at speeds above 60 kmph

Can you post the snap of your helmet. I am also using studds but half face with the same fe a feature and yes the sun visor is actually a boom and specially now when summers are right in the corner.
The helmet of mine is a real good one which actually goes well with the my seed. My new avanger. Here are the snaps of my lid.

            Stupid mt axxis experience.

I bought an mt axxis from chopra automobile karol bagh, delhi last year. Being a fan of tinted visors, i asked them to give me a tinted also(they told me it is for 700 bucks). The confident reply that i got was that we don't have them in stock right now but should get it in a week's time. They proudly claimed to be an official reseller.

I went to their shop at least 6-7 times after that and the only reply that i got was they have placed the order and they are not getting the supplies and told me to try after few days. During the winters i skipped the idea of buying them for the time being and thought of buying after winters.

The real problem: I went to their shop this sunday and asked them about the visor. Surprisingly they said yes they have them in stock. The real problem is now they are asking 1100rupees for it. I told them that while helmet you said around 700. The reply i got was that Mt has changed design a bit so now you have to get new base plates also. I said that i dont want to change the base plates because i will use the clear visor at night. They said you can change to old base plates again.

Spartan people should be responsible enough to cater to old customers also. The aim should be not just to sell products but provide after sales service also. I dont want to buy an 1100 rs visor.

Is there any other visor which can be used on axxis??
I wont suggest anyone to but Mt helmet if they plan to use tinted visors.

True. Mine is also an old MT axxis and they have changed design so internal padding is different now. But stock for the new ones is also not available.

OK, my current helmet ls2 is approaching 5 years now, guess that means time to buy a new one.
I was looking at a local shop, I have seen a SOL SF-5 alpha in orange, almost an exact match to my ride.

Now I can't find much information on SOL helmets, the search engine doesn't help either with three letter words.
So what's the deal on these, any good? The fit was actually perfect, completely snug for a Large size, unlike LS 2 which is always a touch loose. Had tried an LS 2 in the shop and same shit as my old one, reminds of my old girlfriend Lucy, nice but...
Any ways what's the deal with SOL?
Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

I have contacted spartan pro gear and they told me that the new visor will fit any axxis model old or new. Beside smoke visor is out of stock. You can check the spartan pro gear website, it has been completely revamped.
