They can be compared to Kranos on a level but not MT. A friend said it's good but then again not for 90 or 100+ kmph.

Would be good for city daily usage I guess. The graphics are also good. Just not recommended for those weekend fun and high speeds.

I think SMK helmets are real value for money for 4000rs.Comes with pinlock visor and sunglasses. At this price point it comes as steal deal. I am also going for smk helmets in coming days. Also we can connect bluetooth afterwards.
Helmet is long time investment choose wisely for better protection and comfort.

Based upon interesting discussion and first hand user info, I have purchased my MT Blade Chieftain last week from Highwaymen New Delhi.

I don't have words to express my immense gratitude for you all worthy members, it's only because of feedback at this forum, i could make an informed decision.

Buying experience at HIGHWAYMEN was extremely positive. They are very courteous and well informed guys with tremendous patience which inspires trust.

Hope to post a review soon.

        Thanks once again.

I have thinking to get a SMK Modular but haven't seen any good reviews yet. Can you please let us know about the riding comfort? Ares A1 is useless helmet, it is only good for short rides.

Size of outer shell is same for all the sizes. Innear cushioning changes as per size XS,S,M,L etc.So for smaller or large size outer shell remains same. As I mentioned earlier weight is 1450 gm which is at higher side. I previously used a very old vega helmet which weights only 800-1000gm,so it is heavy as per specifications. But I didn't feel the weight while riding.
FRankly speaking I bought the helmet yesterday,so I've not tested it on highways for high speed stability. But from 2 days of experience it is stable at 80 kmph in city.
As far as review is concerned you can find 2-3 reviews on YouTube.

Shivi, SMK is good deal in 4k range, THH and KYT also falls in that range (I would say KYT over THH)

Motocross , I saw Chopra having THH with him, few weeks back (1 week before I met you)

I think SMK is going to launch their motocross series in early 2017.
In 4k range you will get LS2,kranos and MT helmets as well
