Thank you....I'm also thinking of coil lock only, but they are strong enough??heard that coil locks can be easily cut by cutTers etc.

Yes I can, that is why I mentioned them. MT and SOL are available from 4k onwards. HJC from 5-6k onwards. Better to save up a little and get a HJC or a high end SOL or MT.

But I'm in dire need of a helmet and a DOT certified, cool looking THH costing 2k something is fine for now. I will upgrade to something better in the next month(s) and keep the THH as a backup or for the pillion. If anyone who has used or is currently using a THH helmet can pitch in their opinions it will help me a lot.

      Cheers and regards.

Can someone confirm what the sharp ratings for Mt blade and Mt kre helmets are? I'm planning to buy one of these tomorrow and as they do not have Revenge in stock, I'm contemplating on which of these two are better. Any help will be highly appreciated. Arun.

Me and a friend of mine are looking for something that is below 4-5k or maybe less. I was checking out Sol and MT while my friend suggested me THH. So far I know that they are Taiwanese made, DOT certified, not hard to find and good value for money. Oh and they have some really good graphics too, but that is secondary. I would not mind getting one for now and later upgrading to SOL, MT or hopefully HJC and keeping the THH as a backup or for the pillion.

          Cheers and regards.

They mention Snell and Ece certification apart from Dot and Isi. Can you confirm it?

How is the padding? Is it washable?
What about wind noise and stability above 80kph?

            Cheers and much thanks.[emoji111]

Cant say much about snell or ece.
But padding is nice and is easily detachable and easy to wash. Mine is holding wind noises quite well above 80kmph and is stable.
Using it for past 6000 kms including daily commutes , weekend highway rides and few long rides.

                That is good to know.

Any difference in the full face models or they are the same but with different graphics?

So mostly visual differences. Thanks for the insight.
Pretty cool helmets and amazing value for money, that's for sure.
I would love to get one now.[emoji4]

Well as the description in each locks at the Decathlon website itself states:

"Unlike what many people may think, tamper-proof locks do not exist. A bike lock is there to make stealing the bike more complicated, to delay the thief and therefore act as a deterrent. A good lock has an anti-picking lock mechanism and is made out of materials requiring the use of specific tools, therefore making theft more difficult."

Hence I have 2 of them, one which I have under the seat is a small one, which I use in the city or places where I know is safe to park with the helmet being locked with that cable and also another big one from Decathlon itself, which is a bit heavy and a lot thicker which I need to carry in my bag if I know that the place I am going is something I don't know how safe it is. The risks are always there with any locks you take...

The lock in the above mentioned link (the Black one) is the one I keep it under the seat and which I use most of the time.

The above mentioned one is the bigger and more thicker lock I use, only that mine is one with a key and not a number lock.

A word of advice, never go for a number lock, they are the most easiest to open..

Yes, the one in the link is a number lock, but mine is the normal key lock, since I couldn't find the exact one I have, I put this one up for reference only as to the thickness of it.
