Re: Helmets
Its all about comfort. Some are comfy with full face, some with modular while some like open face. Yea safety might be compromised. But then, a better control over bike makes you live a longer life.Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostI won't comment on the smoking part but you prefer risking your jaw on just a hinge of the helmet?

So better control over bikes is the only thing?? Then in that case, motogp and isle of man tt racers should never wear helmets or do you think you are above them even?Originally posted by Ave2592 View PostIts all about comfort. Or your bike and your control over it came with a stamped paper that nothing will happen to you?Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Re: Helmets
No sir. But then that is also one of the important things. And like I said it is also a matter of comfort for those who wears what. The man asked for a modular helmet, so I suggested. If he would ask for a full helmet, I would suggest full helmet. His question was to which "Modular" helmet to buy in his price range, not what "Type".Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostSo better control over bikes is the only thing?? Yet I do hope he takes what makes him feel safe.

I sense your frustration here. But then I don't think that I am above him or anyone.Originally posted by prateek2210 View Postdo you think you are above them even?

Anyways hope you have a great day.
Thank you for showing the downside of modulars.

Re: Helmets
Avoid modulars/ flipups if you really want safety.Originally posted by Kushal_Arora View PostReally !!!! Oh man...
That is some serious insight. I would definitely give full face a shot now.
Thing is i have been using a boolean vega for 10 yrs now and have been super happy with it. So convinient, that i thought all modulars must be like that...
Your insight is super helpful. Going to karol bagh market this saturday.
Thanks again....
You also wrote better control over bike is of utmost importance. I answered to that.Originally posted by Ave2592 View PostNo sir. But then that is also one of the important things. Trust me kid, there is no frustration. I wont even blink an eye, if someone looses his jaw. I have gone over this topic numerous times and now I can just "type" what should be done and what should not be done.Originally posted by Ave2592 View PostI sense your frustration here. Re: Helmets
i bought this Zeus helmet from Karol Bagh, Chopra Automobile store. its got a double visor and a provision to attach the anti fog visor (not sure if thats what you call it).
its manufactured in Taiwan as mentioned in the casing in 2017 itself. Mrp was rs 6500 got it for 6000rs after sweet talking in the shop
. its got only ECE certificaton. i am not bothered though. it fits me really well. weighs 1680 gms, seems heavy but i dont find it heavy while wearing it. also it has double d ring and a chin curtain.

Re: Helmets
Please post a review of the helmet, as Zeus helmet International is a very reputed company. (But this Zeus Helmet brand has nothing to do with Zeus gear company that sells in India and does not have any connection with the helmet brand :P)Originally posted by hemanta View Posti bought this Zeus helmet from Karol Bagh, Chopra Automobile store. its got a double visor and a provision to attach the anti fog visor (not sure if thats what you call it).

Double D is really good. Let us know about the padding of the helmet and fitting. Also is the padding removable? I want to buy one soon and was planning to go this weekend and check one for myself.
ECE is good enough, do not fall for all that jazz of ECE and DOT (coz I have read much in detail about the same and its is ALMOST the same. It is just that when a brand wants to sell in the US market they have to get DOT certification and when they have to sell in the European market it needs to be ECE certified. I saw an Aria Helmet owned by my friend (Original) and it has only ECE.
I am considering SMK, MT and Zeus for now. Ls2 Helmets are really good too, but only if you know you are getting the real one coz a lot of fakes are doing the round.

Re: Helmets
Hi all,
I am buying Suzuki Gixxer SF-FI(Blue). Which helmet should I buy with it. Is Gixxer helmet good enough, it matches the graphics on bike but it is an off-road helmet. If not, please suggest good helmet in price range of INR2000, which also matches with bike like the Gixxer one.
Thanks.
